Moto Razr 3 specs surface online, imminent India launch doubtful

Lenovo launched its first foldable phone in 2019 and named it Moto Razr, following which a 5G variant was also launched in 2020. Now, it seems like the company is in no mood to let its foldable line-up die as days after Lenovo confirmed that the company is working on a successor to Razr 2020, Razr 3 seems to be in the works. Moto Razr 3 Expected Specs

According to a report by XDA developers, details about Moto Razr 3 have surfaced online. According to these leaks, Moto Razr 3 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon’s 8 Gen 1 chipset and paired up with 12GB RAM. If this happens, then Moto Razr 3 will be the first foldable phone by Motorola that will get a flagship chipset. Moto Razr 3 is expected to arrive in multiple RAM variants like 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB along with various storage configurations like 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.

The Razr 3 is expected to feature a Full HD+ AMOLED main screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch hole on the center for selfies. There is a secondary screen too outside, but its specs are not known yet.

Moto Razr 3 is expected to come with some innovative features like a wrap-around display, stylus pen support, virtual buttons, in-pocket detection, and heat detection.

The Moto Razr is expected to run on Android 12 and will come to China, Europe, and North America at the very least.

Moto Razr 2019

Currently, the company is selling Moto Razr 2019 and Moto Razr 5G 2020. The Moto Razr 5G is available for Rs. 89,999 for the 8GB RAM+256GB storage in India. Earlier it was being sold for Rs. 1,09,000 but now it’s available for Rs. 89,999 on Flipkart.

The Moto Razr 2019 is available for Rs. 54,999 in India. It was earlier being sold for Rs. 74,999 for the 6GB RAM+128GB storage variant.

The Moto Razr 5G sports a 6.2-inch Poled display with a 21:9 aspect ratio. There is a secondary display at the rear panel of the phone which has a 2.7-inch display with an aspect ratio of 4:3. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB inbuilt storage, which is expandable.

Moto Razr 5G has a 48MP quad pixel camera on the rear and a 20MP front camera with an F2.2 aperture. The 48MP lens can be used as a rear camera only when the phone is unfolded and it can be used as a front camera when the phone is folded.
