Moto Edge 50 Ultra: AI Features

Motorola has shared a teaser video via X that highlights some of the AI features of Moto Edge 50 Ultra. It is dubbed Magic Canvas which will be an AI text-to-image generator, letting users create images with simple textual descriptions. The video shows how the feature would work.
In the video, the user opens an app-like interface that has the title Create with AI. There are two options on the screen- Style Sync and Magic Canvas. The user chooses the Magic Canvas screen and keys in a text prompt that describes a scene that AI then generates. The user then shares the created image on messaging platform WhatsApp which confirms that Magic Canvas will allow direct sharing or downloading to third-party apps.
As for the other option, Style Sync, it hasn’t been demonstrated in the video apart from describing it as something that will allow users to capture an image of their outfit to generate a matching wallpaper.
Apart from Magic Canvas and Style Sync, Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will also get an AI-integrated camera setup for better stabilization during video recording and capturing images with autofocus and long exposure. Motorola has also confirmed that AI will help in clicking better action shots and that these AI features are powered by Motorola’s in-house Moto AI.
The Moto AI is a systemwide integrated AI model that will be found in the camera, themes app, navigation, and search features. AI might also help in the creation of content and personalization. Motorola has also confirmed that those who own Edge 50 series devices will be able to access Moto AI features in the Google Photos app. These tools include Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Magic Editor. These features have already been rolled out to compatible Google Pixel devices in the past.
