Motorola G85 5G Smartphone Launching in India on July 10

Motorola has announced the launch date of the Moto G85 5G in India. The company has confirmed that the Moto G85 5G is arriving in India on 10th July. The mid-ranger was first announced in China as Moto S50 Neo after which it was launched in Europe as Moto G85 5G last week.

Ahead of the India launch, the Flipkart microsite for G85 5G has gone live which confirms the spec, colors, and availability of the smartphone.

Moto G85 5G: Expected Price & Availability

The upcoming Moto G85 5G is expected to cost under Rs. 20,000 in India. It will go on sale via Flipkart, Motorola India e-store, and Offline outlets.

The Lenovo-owned brand has also confirmed that Moto G85 will come in 8GB RAM+128GB storage and 12GB RAM+256GB storage options.

Moto G85 5G: Features

Motorola G85 5G will feature a 6.7-inch P-OLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It will be a 3D curved display with a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 1600 nits brightness, SGS Eye protection, 10-bit color support, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It also has an Adreno 619 GPU.  Moto G85 will run Android 14 with two years of promised OS updates and three years of security patches. Moto has also equipped G85 with a Smart Connect feature to seamlessly connect across all devices.

In terms of camera, there will be a 50MP primary camera with OIS along with an 8MP ultrawide camera with macro functionalities. At the front will be a 32MP selfie snapper. Under the hood, Moto G85 packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W TurboPower fast charging.

The Moto G85 5G will come with an IP52 rating and support dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio. The smartphone has a thickness of 7.59mm and weighs 172 grams. It will be available in Cobalt Blue, Urban Grey, and Olive Green shades.
