A new Realme smartphone has been spotted on the FCC’s website. This particular device has the model code RMX3867. Earlier this month, this model also surfaced on the EEC and TDKN certification sites.

FCC Listing Reveals Smartphone Connectivity Options And Battery Capacity

Per the FCC listing, the smartphone will sport 5G connectivity and NFC. Further, it will feature a 4,880 mAh Li-ion Polymer battery cell. It could also support more than 50W charging speed. Last but not least, the smartphone runs on Realme UI 5.0.

Could This Smartphone Be GT 5 Pro Or 12 Pro+?

However, this raises more questions than answers. Realme currently has two models in the pipeline. First, the recently launched GT 5 Pro that’s already available in China. Second, the unreleased Realme 12 Pro series, which will come out in late January or early February 2024.

Most recently, Realme India’s official X (formerly known as Twitter) page teased an image with a rectangular periscope camera lens in the center and a circular ring outside. This teaser led to several speculations.

GT 5 Pro Is The Company’s First Smartphone With a Periscope Lens

While the Realme GT 5 Pro is the brand’s first smartphone to feature a periscope lens (the same as what we saw in the teaser), an Indian tipster has suggested that the teaser belongs to the Realme 12 Pro+, which is rumored to arrive with an OmniVision OV64B periscope lens.

In addition, the Realme 12 Pro+ already has a BIS certification with the model number RMX3840. Hence, there’s a good chance that the model spotted on FCC is either a different model, perhaps the Realme 12 Pro or the Indian version of the Realme GT 5 Pro. Either way, the company is gearing up to reveal new models in the country.
