Nokia 2.3 with 4000mAh battery, Mediatek Helio A22 SoC launched in India at Rs. 8199

HMD Global has launched a new Nokia phone in the entry-level segment. Nokia 2.3 claims to offer a 2-day battery life in dint of a 4000mAh power source. Although it would be preloaded with Android 9 Pie software, Nokia vows an Android 10 update in the future. The Finnish brand has extolled a few camera features in its bag of tricks.

Nokia 2.3 highlights

Nokia 2.3 suits in a familiar attire, i.e., a waterdrop display at the front with a big bottom bezel highlighting the brand logo. This one’s an HD+ panel that’s 6.2-inches in size and a 19:9 aspect ratio.

You could grab the phone in three dies- Cyan Green, Sand, and Charcoal.

The imaging is handled by 5-megapixel selfie snapper on the front and a 13+ 2-megapixel duo at the back. It tots a bunch of camera features like Portrait Mode, multiple bokeh effects and Recommended Shot. This last one takes 15 images before and after you press the shutter and thereafter cherry-picks the best click.

Internals include Helio A22 chipset coupled with the 32GB onboard storage expandable up to 400GB. It is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery, that vaunts to endure for 2-days. And if it runs out of juice, you can refill using the bundled 5W charger.

Among other things, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual SIMs, and a Micro-USB (v2.0) port.

Nokia 2.3 retails at Rs. 8199 in India.

It will be available from December 27th at nokia.com, authorized retail stores, and channel partners like Croma, Reliance, Sangeetha, Poorvika, Big C, and MyG outlets across India. Nokia is bundling a 6-month warranty on the accessories besides a one-year replacement guarantee against hardware flaws.
