Nokia 6.2 with triple cameras and SD636 processor launched in India at Rs. 15,999

HMD Global has launched Nokia 6.2 in India today. It ships with Snapdragon 636 chipset, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It has a triple camera setup at the back and a waterdrop notch upfront. The phone is available via Amazon India with discounts and offers. Incidentally, the hushed launch is around the same time as Amazon’s Great India Festival Celebration Special sale, which is going to happen between October 13 to October 17.

Nokia 6.2 highlights

It sports an HD+ display that stretches 6.3 inches diagonally. The screen is HDR10 compliant. Nokia gives Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. There is a tiny notch which is home to an 8MP selfie shooter. At the back, you get a circular camera hump housing the phone’s triple cameras. The primary camera is a 16-megapixel sensor accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.

Nokia 6.2 launched in India

Unlock the phone using your face or the fingerprint scanner on the rear to interact with stock Android 9 software. Nokia claims it is Android 10-ready. Further, as part of the Android One program, you will get guaranteed monthly security updates for three years and OS updates for two years.

The phone also comes with a dedicated Google Assistant button, a 3-month membership trial to Google One at no extra cost, 100GB of cloud storage across Google Drive, Gmail and Google Photos and access to premium support from Google experience – all in one shareable family plan.

The internals includes Snapdragon 636 chip, 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM, and 3500mAh battery, which is backed with 10W charger.

Nokia 6.2 is currently listed on Amazon India in the Ceramic Black colour at Rs. 15,999 under a Deal of the Day offer. There will be an Ice color model as well, which is not up online now. You could grab the device via top mobile retail outlets in India, on Nokia.com/phones.
