Carl Pei’s Nothing has already confirmed that it will launch its 2nd smartphone, Nothing Phone (2) on July 11 globally as well as in India. However, seems like the brand is not stopping just at smartphones as it is also venturing into the smartwatch market very soon. The news is almost confirmed as Nothing recently filed for a trademark dubbed ‘CMF By Nothing’ a couple of months ago. Although there was no information about the product or the category at that time, but now things seem to be materializing.

Nothing Smartwatch Launch Soon

Tipster Mukul Sharma spotted an Indian BIS certification with model number Nothing D395 under “CMF by Nothing” title. The same was spotted earlier by Mukul Sharma a few months ago and the interesting part about this listing is that it comes under the smartwatch category. Earlier Nothing’s founder Carl Pei hinted about venturing into smartwatch space via a tweet about testing Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. Here’s what the tweet read.

“Got the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro on Sunday to learn about smartwatches, but I don’t know what to use it for…Feels kind of useless? What do you use smartwatches for?”

Although Indian Certification doesn’t guarantee a product coming to India and moreover we are not sure if it is a smartwatch or just a fitness tracker with a focus on transparency and dot matrix typography to test the waters, this is for sure that Nothing will launch something in this wearable segment.

There’s nothing concrete at the moment, including the name of the rumored Nothing Smartwatch. However, we are surely optimistic about a Nothing Smartwatch in the near future. For now, what’s confirmed is the launch of Nothing Phone (2) which will be sustainably crafted and will be a Made in India product. Read on to know its features.

Nothing Phone (2) Specs: Confirmed & Unconfirmed

Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and pack a 4700mAh battery. It is expected to sport a 120Hz AMOLED panel with 50MP triple rear cameras with OIS and satellite communications. It will run Nothing OS 2.0 based on Android 13 out of the box.
