At SXSW London, Nothing’s Chief Executive Officer, Carl Pei, has officially confirmed the existence of a Nothing-branded over-ear headphone: the Headphone (1). The device will debut with the Phone (3) on July 1, 2025.
Given that the brand’s first product was a pair of in-ear earphones — the Nothing Ear (1) — launching a pair of new headphones marks a significant moment for the company in its journey toward building a design-led product ecosystem.

Nothing “To Level Up Audio In 2025”
Talking about the upcoming product, Pei said, “Nothing Headphone (1) is coming very soon. Our first over-ear headphones are launching on July 1. A whole new product category for us as we continue to level up audio in 2025.”

The Headphone (1) is being developed in partnership with KEF, a British audio expert. We’ve also heard rumors about the Headphone (1) rivaling the AirPods Max in terms of audio quality and, by extension, the overall fit, finish, and feel of the device.
