Nothing is gearing up to announce its latest budget smartphone series globally on March 4th. Ahead of the launch, the company announced that the Nothing Phone (3a) series will be manufactured locally in India. This move aligns with the company’s commitment to local production.

Nothing states that this initiative has significantly contributed to job creation, with over 500 employees at their Chennai factory, where the Phone (3a) series is being manufactured. According to reports, the Phone (3a) series will consist of two models: the regular Phone (3a) and the Phone (3a) Pro. The Phone 3a will come in 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB variants, available in Black and White. The Phone 3a Pro will be offered in a single 12GB/256GB variant, available in Grey.

The Phone 3a is rumored to include a 50MP main camera (similar to the Phone 2a), a 50MP 2x telephoto lens (likely Samsung JN1), an 8MP ultra-wide lens (a downgrade from 50MP), and a 32MP front camera. The Phone 3a Pro is expected to feature a periscope camera.
