It’s that time of the year again. Nothing has started teasing its next generation of smartphones bit by bit. Earlier, the company revealed three characters, each representing three devices. Now, the company has revealed a little glimpse of the upcoming device, but we’re not sure what it is.

Update: Nothing has posted the deleted images once again.

One of those three devices has been confirmed to be the CMF Watch Pro’s successor. It has the model number A0418 (D398) and the code name Buizel. The product seems to be listed in the smartwatch category. This post has been deleted from Nothing’s official page.

As for the other two devices, the one carrying the model number A0196 (D172) and the code name Espeon seems to be a new audio product under the CMF brand. This could be the CMF Buds 2 Pro or something else. We’re not sure yet. This post has also been deleted from Nothing’s official page.

The final one carrying the model number A0195 and the code name Beedrill is expected to be the CMF Phone (1). The teaser posted by Nothing on its official X page confirms this. Although CMF products are usually announced by the CMF By Nothing page, it’s not uncommon for the Nothing page to tease CMF products. And yes, it’s a phone and not an accessory (confirmed by Akis).

Beedrill

Speaking of which, the phone that we see in the teaser doesn’t seem to have the same transparent back as the Nothing Phone (1) and Phone (2), rather a more bland design with a screw. We are expecting this phone to ditch the transparent back since it’s a CMF product.

If we look at the CMF portfolio, these products follow the conventional design with no extras, unlike the transparency and the glyphs on Nothing devices. Per previous leaks, the CMF Phone (1) will have a dual camera setup consisting of a 50 MP main shooter and an 8 MP ultra-wide. The cameras will be aligned vertically to the top-left, just like Nothing Phone (1) and Phone (2).

As for the specs, the CMF Phone (1) is expected to be a trimmed-down version of the already trimmed-down Nothing Phone (2a). We’re expecting a 120 Hz AMOLED screen, a MediaTek chip (likely from the 6000 series), a 5,000 mAh battery, 33W fast charging, 6 GB (base) RAM, and NothingOS based on Android 14.

It is worth not(h)ing that there won’t be any glyph lights, a transparent back, or even NFC. The rumor mill says that Nothing could also offer the CMF Phone (1) in a leather finish. Finally, the price is expected to be under INR 20,000.
