TL; DR
- OPPO Find X9s has been officially confirmed to launch with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset.
- The Dimensity 9500s sits just below the flagship Dimensity 9500.
- This locks in the Find X9s as OPPO’s next compact flagship, with a China launch expected in March 2026 and an India launch in the April-May 2026 window.
OPPO has officially confirmed that the upcoming OPPO Find X9s will run on MediaTek’s newly announced Dimensity 9500s processor. The confirmation came during MediaTek Tech Day 2026 in India, where MediaTek India and OPPO India highlighted the Find X9s as one of the first phones built around the new chip.
Dimensity 9500s is a slightly toned version (or rebranded 9400+) of the flagship Dimensity 9500, with 1x 3.73 GHz Cortex-X925, 3x 3.3 GHz Cortex-X4, 4x 2.4 GHz Cortex-A720 CPU cores and Immortalis-G925 GPU. That fits the Find X9s rumor cycle so far, as reported in our exclusive story earlier.

Leaks around the Find X9s currently suggest a phone built around a flat 6.3-inch 1.5K OLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate, paired with a 50MP triple rear camera setup. It’s also expected to carry IP68/IP69 durability ratings, along with fast charging in the 80W to 100W range. A China launch is expected soon, with global availability likely following in April/May 2026.
With the chipset now confirmed publicly, the Find X9s is basically out of the “pure rumor” zone. The rest of the specs should start getting locked in quickly from here. And yes, the India launch is also pretty much now confirmed.
