Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi were also announced as part of the cast during the same month. Notably, Arun Govil, renowned for his portrayal of Lord Rama in the iconic television series Ramayan (1987–1988) and King Vikramaditya in Vikram Aur Betaal (1985), joined the film as Lord Rama in November 2021. Filming for OMG 2 commenced in Mumbai on September 2, 2021.
