Ola S1 Air entry-level Electric Scooter launched in India

Ola has launched an all-new Ola S1 Air E-Scooter that is the most affordable one from the brand. The Ola S1 Air has been launched at a special introductory price as a part of the Diwali celebrations in the country. “With the introduction of the Ola S1 Air, we have transformed the everyday scooter from being merely functional to a sophisticated and technologically advanced product with the latest MoveOS features,” said Bhavish Aggarwal, Founder, and CEO of Ola.

Ola S1 Air: Price & Availability

The Ola S1 Air is priced at Rs. 79,999 for those who reserved the scooter for Rs. 999 before Diwali. Post introductory offer, the price will be bumped up to Rs. 84,999. The purchase window for the Ola S1 Air will open in February 2023 and deliveries will commence from early April 2023.

The Ola S1 Air comes in a two-tone body color scheme and will be available in 5 colorways- Coral Green, Neo Mint, Porcelain White, Jet Black, and Liquid Silver.

Ola S1 Air Features

The Ola S1 Air E-Scooter is built on the S1 platform and is powered by a 2.5KWh battery pack and a 4.5KWh hub motor. It runs MoveOS 3 and weighs about 99 kg. The scooter claims to deliver a top speed of 85 km per hour and goes from 0 to 40 in just 4.3 seconds. The Ola S1 Air will be able to charge for up to 50km in 15 minutes at a speed of 3km per minute, all due to Ola Hyperchargers. Ola has also changed the braking hardware as Ola S1 Air comes with drum brakes at both ends unlike the disc braking system on S1 and S1 Pro e-scooters.

The scooter comes with full LED lighting, speakers, and a large 7-inch TFT display that is touch sensitive and can connect to your phone to offer additional features and information. Ola is planning to launch this e-scooter in international markets of France, Italy, and Germany.
