OnePlus has finally confirmed the launch of its next flagship, OnePlus 13 5G. The OnePlus 13 is all set to launch in China in October 2024. A senior OnePlus official revealed that the OnePlus 13 will debut in its home country China as part of the existing flagship lineup that includes the OnePlus 12, the OnePlus 11, and others. It will be powered by the latest chipset and come with better gaming performance, camera performance, and more.

OnePlus 13 Launch Confirmed

OnePlus China President Louis Lee shared a post on the Chinese social media platform Weibo announcing that the OnePlus 13 will be available in China ‘next month’. This confirms the October launch of the OnePlus 13 in China.
The smartphone will be powered by the latest chipset, most probably the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 that will be unveiled at the Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii in October. The chipset is said to have a dual-core architecture for better mobile performance. With the OnePlus exclusive tech, the SoC will enable games with high visual quality like Genshin Impact to run at 120fps.
Recently, tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that the OnePlus 13 will make its China debut in the last week of October or in the first week of November.

OnePlus 13: Expected specs

The OnePlus 13 5G is said to feature a 2K flat display with curved edges and a high 120Hz refresh rate. It might come with a 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and 50MP periscope lens at the back and a large 6000mAh battery under the hood. In terms of charging, it is expected to support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging speeds. OnePlus 13 will most likely come with an IP69 rating.

As mentioned, OnePlus 13 5G will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. The smartphone was recently seen on Geekbench with the newest chipset and model number PJZ110. The listing reveals OnePlus 13 will run Android 14 and has scored 3236 points in the single-core test and 10,049 points multi-core test. It might pack 14.8GB RAM which would translate to 16GB on paper. The chipset has been codenamed Sun and will most likely be Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.
