  • It will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, a 7,300 mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, and a triple 50MP rear camera system.

  • Pricing is expected to start lower than the OnePlus 13 by ¥500 in China and ₹5,000 in India.

The OnePlus 15 is being built with an aerospace-grade nanometallic unibody. It is a single-block frame created through a military-grade micro-arc oxidation process. Hardness levels are measured at 134% higher than titanium, 223% higher than stainless steel, and 344% higher than aluminum alloy.

Unlike traditional aluminum, this material combines structural strength with strong thermal conductivity. The frame is also processed with ion coloring and sealed at the nano level, which gives it corrosion resistance and keeps the finish intact under long-term use.

The back panel has a new snowskin texture designed to add grip, while a Sand Dune color option has been added to the lineup. The bezels are slimmer than those on the iPhone 17 Pro, and the rounded corners are paired with a compact square camera module like the 13s. A ceramic cutout is integrated into the rear panel to ensure wireless charging works without interference from the metal.

OnePlus 15 Expected Specs

The device will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. It’ll sport a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display, with 1.5K resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Pro XDR. The battery capacity is expected to be somewhere between 7,000 mAh and 7,300 mAh, with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The camera setup will include three 50MP rear sensors. The primary sensor is expected to be LYT-808, joined by a JN5 ultrawide and a telephoto using a smaller Samsung JN5 sensor at 1/2.76 inches with 3.5X zoom. This is a reduction compared to the OnePlus 13’s larger telephoto sensor.

The primary sensor itself may also shrink to 1/1.56 inches. Hasselblad branding is no longer present, replaced by OnePlus’s DetailMax image engine. The front camera is 32MP.

Other features include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, IP69 water and dust protection, and OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. The haptic motor is expected to be smaller than the one used in the previous generation.
