All the phones in this comparison feature a punch-hole screen at the front with symmetrical bezels on all sides. However, the iQOO 15’s camera cutout looks slightly bigger than those on the others.
Regarding the back panel design, all the phones have a distinct appearance. The OnePlus 15, for instance, has a square-shaped metallic camera module with rounded edges, along with three blacked-out modules. The iQOO 15, on the other hand, has a squircle, blacked-out camera module, along with an otherwise plain back panel. It could also arrive in a color-shifting Crimson Red color and a unique dual-colored orange and white design.

The realme GT 8 Pro seems to have the most minimal and unique back panel design. First, it features a relatively smaller circular camera module. Second, the module is replaceable as it is held in place with screws. So, those interested in customizing their smartphone can get their hands on the replaceable camera modules and DIY their way into it.
Beyond that, all the phones have similar thicknesses, weights, materials, and the best IP ratings.

- Among the three phones, the iQOO 15 has the largest and brightest screen, with the highest peak brightness.
- The iQOO 15, along with the realme GT 8 Pro, has the highest pixel density as well.
- However, the OnePlus 15 redeems itself with the segment’s highest refresh rate, 165 Hz.
- Although the companies don’t confirm the PWM Dimming rate, the realme GT 8 Pro supports the highest PWM Dimming rate, which should make it the most comfortable on the eyes.
OnePlus 15 vs. iQOO 15 vs. realme GT 8 Pro: Processor

While the phones have different exteriors and displays, they all feature the same chipset under the hood: the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3nm).
For those catching up, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is based on TSMC’s N3P fabrication technology, which delivers performance and efficiency gains over the previous N3E process. The chipset features two 4.6GHz prime cores, six 3.62GHz performance cores, the Adreno 840 GPU with hardware-accelerated raytracing, and the Hexagon NPU.
All the phones are available with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage (more stable and reliable than UFS 4.0 storage). Moreover, you can expect all the phones to provide top-tier performance. Whether it is heavy multitasking, high-fidelity gaming, or editing 4K videos on the go, the phones can handle it all.

While the OnePlus 15 includes a G2 gaming network chip and a dedicated touch response chip, the iQOO 15 and the realme GT 8 Pro include dedicated gaming chips to enhance performance.
The iQOO 15 includes a Q3 esports chip, built on a TSMC ultra-low-power process, that provides super resolution, super-frame interpolation, and real-time ray tracing. With the co-processor, the handset offers native 2K rendering at 144 FPS across several games.
The realme GT 8 Pro also includes an R1 gaming chip that handles independent frame interpolation, resolution enhancement, and display rendering, potentially boosting frame rates up to 144Hz. The chip also helps reduce latency.
| GeekBench 6 CPU Test | Dimensity 9500 | Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 | Apple A19 |

OnePlus 15 vs. iQOO 15 vs. realme GT 8 Pro: Operating System

Out of the box, the OnePlus 15 runs on OxygenOS 16 (based on Android 16). Among its key features are major customization upgrades with new clock styles, more icon and widget sizes for home screen layout, Flux Themes 2.0, a cleaner notification interface, and smoother animations.
The user interface also includes Mind Assistant, a new AI assistant in Mind Space that can search and find saved content, an AI-enhanced Doc Scanner that digitizes physical documents, an AI Productivity Suite, which includes features like AI Writer and AI Scan, and AI Transcription.
Although the company hasn’t confirmed it yet, the handset could get four years of operating system updates and six years of security updates.

The iQOO 15 runs on OriginOS 6 (based on Android 16). Among its key features are Light & Shadow Space, Dynamic Glow and System Lighting, vivo Sans and refreshed icons, the Blue River performance engine, Origin Island for activity information, and other features like Shake to Share and Office Kit.

We exclusively reported that the iQOO 15 will get five years of operating system updates and seven years of security updates.
realme’s GT 8 Pro runs on realme UI 7.0, which is also based on Android 16. The user interface features a Light Glass design (inspired by Liquid Glass on iOS 26), misty glass control center, Flux Themes 2.0, AI Notify Brief, AI Framing Master, and AI Gaming Coach.

OnePlus 15

The OnePlus 15 features a triple 50MP rear camera array (main + ultrawide + periscope telephoto), a 32MP AF front camera, 4K video up to 120 fps, and 8K video up to 30 fps. The new ISP unlocks improved HDR, multi-frame noise reduction, and the company’s new image pipeline called DetailMax. And yes, OnePlus has ended its partnership with Hasselblad, so you won’t find that on the smartphone anymore.
It’s worth noting that the periscope zoom camera on the OnePlus 15 features the smallest sensor of all, which could result in slightly inferior pictures, especially in low light.
iQOO 15

Like the OnePlus 15, the iQOO 15 also features a triple-camera setup on the back and a 32MP selfie shooter on the front. Video support goes up to 8K 30 fps, but for some odd reason, iQOO has skipped support for 4K 120 fps video. While the primary camera’s size remains the same, the iQOO 15 sports a larger telephoto sensor, which should, in theory, result in slightly better pictures.

realme GT 8 Pro

The realme GT 8 Pro features a 50MP main and 50MP ultrawide camera, but the star of the show is the 200MP periscope zoom camera. Besides having 4x the resolution, the GT 8 Pro’s coom camera features a larger aperture and sensor size. The sensor also has a minimum focusing distance of 25cm, allowing detailed tele-macro shots.
Beyond that, the phone supports 8K 30 fps video and 4K 120 fps video. This year, realme has partnered with Ricoh Imaging for tuning the imaging. As part of the collaboration, the smartphone features a GR Mode with quick shutter response, support for two full-frame-equivalent focal lengths supported via cropping, and five classic Ricoh GR Tones built into the camera app.

Of the three phones, the OnePlus 15 has the largest 7,300 mAh battery, which should easily last users for around 2 days of regular use and over 1 day of moderate to heavy use. With a 6,000 mAh battery, the OnePlus 13 offered up to six hours of screen-on time during our test.
This year, we expect the phone to provide at least a couple more hours. The phone also supports 120W wired charging, which can charge it to 100% in about 40 minutes.
iQOO 15

The iQOO 15 features a 7,000 mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging and 40W wireless charging (lesser than 50W on the OnePlus 15). With a 6,000 mAh battery, the phone offered around 6 hours of screen-on time under heavy use. The larger battery on the latest unit should only improve that.

Last but not least, it runs realme UI 7.0 out of the box, providing a familiar experience for users upgrading from realme handsets.
