TL; DR
  • The OnePlus handset bears the model number “OnePlus CPH2767.”
  • Although the listing doesn’t mention the processor it is based on, the core configuration confirms it is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC.
  • The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 isn’t as powerful as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (or the Snapdragon 8 Elite for that matter), but it surely delivers more horsepower than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

A OnePlus device has surfaced on the popular benchmarking platform GeekBench 6, with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, and it could be the upcoming OnePlus 15R. While the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has only announced the OnePlus 15R and its launch date in select regions, Qualcomm has officially unveiled its Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, which sits below the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3nm) SoC.

Clearly, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 isn’t as powerful as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (or the Snapdragon 8 Elite for that matter), but it surely delivers more horsepower than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset that we tested on the OnePlus 13R.

From what it looks like now: SD 8 Elite Gen 5 > SD 8 Elite > SD 8 Gen 5 > SD 8 Gen 3.

Among the other details revealed by the Geekbench listing are 10.88GB of RAM (which could be advertised as 12GB at launch), and the operating system is listed as Android 16, suggesting the device could run OxygenOS 16 out of the box.
