  • OnePlus 15 to ship with BOE’s third-gen Oriental X3 screen, co-developed with exclusive technology.
  • As per DCS, the display will be its killer feature.
  • Flat 6.78-inch OLED, 1.5K resolution, 165 Hz refresh, LTPO, ultra-thin bezels via LIPO.

As per the latest leaks, the OnePlus 15 will debut BOE’s X3 Oriental screen, co-developed with OPPO on a dedicated production line. Digital Chat Station on Weibo says this panel is built to target the top spot in display rankings, following the X2 panel used in the OnePlus 13 (which already proved very good).

Specs point to a 6.78-inch flat OLED with a 1.5K resolution, a step down from 2K on the OnePlus 13. The display will support a 165 Hz refresh rate, paired with, leaks suggest, native 165 FPS gaming support when pushed by the upcoming performance engine. LTPO tech will enable adaptive refresh from 1 Hz up to 120 Hz for daily use, with 165 Hz reserved for heavy tasks.

The display is also said to incorporate LIPO technology to make the bezels slimmer, keeping the phone nearly edge-to-edge. BOE’s third-gen panel is said to improve brightness, eye protection, and color accuracy, though exact numbers like peak brightness are not yet confirmed.

The OnePlus 15 is rumored to come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (possibly branded as 8 Elite Gen 5), a 7,000+ mAh battery, a 50 MP + 50 MP + 50 MP rear camera setup, a 50 MP front camera, new imaging engine (confirmed), and 120W fast charging. The China launch is expected in October 2025, followed by the India launch shortly after.
