OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 8 India Launch Date Revealed

The official OnePlus Twitter handle has announced the launch date for the upcoming OnePlus 8 Series and the grand unveiling is set for April 14. Due to ongoing global lockdown, the launch will be live-streamed on YouTube and OnePlus official website at 8:30 PM IST.

The company is using ‘Lead is Speed’ tagline to promote the OnePlus 8-series. The teaser page released on the official website suggests that all 8-series devices will be 5G-ready and brandish a 120Hz Fluid Display. Apart from this, OnePlus doesn’t go into much detail. Though, the page exhibits a probable launch of new OnePlus TV alongside the OnePlus 8-Series!

We earlier reported that OnePlus 8 Pro will launch with quad cameras and punch-hole display at the upper-left corner. We are anticipating the latest Snapdragon SD865 processor and options up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM. For a big change, the devices might support wireless charging and water-resistance certification.

The speculations will be put to rest once the OnePlus 8-series are introduced to the market on April 14. One big challenge OnePlus might face is the marketing of these devices amid the global coronavirus outbreak.
