The OnePlus Ace 3 arrived in China in January. Since then, we have heard about the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro in the works. It is interesting to watch because the Ace 3 Pro will eventually be rebranded to the OnePlus 12T in India and a few other markets. Well, now we have a complete OnePlus 12T specs list that you can check out, as it leaves no stops unturned.
OnePlus 12T Specs Leaked
Oneplus plans to use two different names in China and the rest of the world. It will retail as the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro in China and the OnePlus 12T elsewhere. The phone is expected to feature a 6.78″ 8T AMOLED LTPO X1 display bearing a 1.5K pixels resolution. The display is being supplied by China’s BOE, which also aligns with previous comments from tipster Digital Chat Station. The display will reach 1,000 nits of max brightness, 1,600 nits of peak brightness (global), and 4,500 nits of local peak brightness.

Under the hood, the phone will be supplied with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 SoC, the flagship chipset of 2023. We have already seen several phones packing this impressive chipset from Qualcomm, including Oneplus’s own flagship, the OnePlus 12. The OP12T is almost as comparable as its flagship sibling. 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage will complement the chipset alongside 12GB, 16GB, and 24GB LPDDR5X RAM variants. This means that the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro / 12T will be widespread in terms of variants and capacities, with different pricing.
On the optics front, we have a triple camera at the back comprising a 50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP auxiliary shooter. OnePlus 12T is likely to steer away from the OnePlus 11 and 12-inspired circular camera bump to something referred to as a ‘large round deco.’ Of course, other sources suggest the camera bump would remain untouched and without any metal rings surrounding it. On the front, we have a 16MP shooter housed neatly in a punch-hole cut-out.

According to DCS and OnePlus Club, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro (or OnePlus 12T) will have a ceramic variant, a glass, and a leather back, pushing the envelope of what you get with a T-series smartphone. OnePlus 12T is likely to have a metal frame making a move from the plastic frame found on the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro (the never-released OnePlus 11T).

Finally, we have the battery pack at 6,100mAh, which is a significant leap over Ace 2 Pro’s 5000mAh. However, that probably comes at the cost of a charging speed that has been lowered to 100W SuperVOOC as opposed to Ace 2 Pro’s 150W wired charging. You could be waiting a bit longer to juice up that 6,100mAh giant, although that is worth it because we usually spend hours on phones draining them like anything.
