OnePlus Nord 3 is already in the making. We have seen the OnePlus 11 5G and 11R 5G and are awaiting the next-gen Nord offering as well. Courtesy of various tipsters, we got our hands on the latest piece of information that squashes the probability of having a 1.5K display onboard. It goes against the previous leaks but here’s more about the latest one doing the rounds of the rumor mill.
OnePlus Nord 3 Leaked Specifications
Debyan Roy (Gadgetsdata) got his hands on the specifications that the OnePlus Nord 3 will arrive with.
The phone is likely to get a 6.5” FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED panel which squashes the earlier claims of a 1.5K display. Apart from that, there’s either MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max or Dimensity 8200 roaring under the hood. There’s a 50MP OIS plus an 8MP ultrawide camera at the back. It will be flanked with a ‘useless’ tertiary camera as per Gadgetsdata which is a hint that there’s an auxiliary snapper at the back too.
At the front, we see a 32MP selfie camera housed in a punch-hole cut-out. OnePlus Nord 3 is likely storing either a 4,500mAh or a 5,000mAh battery as per the purported leak. It is likely paired with a whopping 100W fast-charging tech as well.
Going by the previous leaks, we are aware that the Nord 3 might pick up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM as well as up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. There’s an alert slider onboard as well as we have seen with the OnePlus 11 5G and other flagship phones from the Chinese maker. Nord 3 uses a flat side frame that will make it super easy to hold. Finally, we are aware of an X-axis motor that will be used for haptic and vibration on the handset.
We did a story on OnePlus Nord 3 where tipster Shishir revealed a few similar details including the camera setup, battery setup, and flat side frame. It was there where we learned about the purported 1.5K resolution display onboard Nord 3 alongside a Dimensity 8200 SoC. We also learned about a 64MP primary cam at the back although it is not mentioned in the latest leak.
OnePlus Nord 3 India Launch Date
The Nord 3 is expected to make its presence felt sometime in June this year. We aren’t certain about the exact date yet but it is safe to assume that we aren’t too far.
