OnePlus Nord 4 to offer four Android updates and six years of security updates

The OnePlus Nord 4 is launching soon in India with its unique metal design. Now, the company has confirmed that the Nord 4 will be the first OnePlus device to support four years of Android updates and six years of security updates. This is a great move, especially for those users who tend to use their devices for a long period of time.

The OnePlus Nord 4 is launching at the OnePlus Summer Event on July 16, 2024. OnePlus will be launching a few other products alongside the OnePlus Nord 4—OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro, OnePlus Pad 2, and OnePlus Watch 2R.

OnePlus Nord 4 Specifications

The OnePlus Nord 4 is expected to sport a 6.74” 1.5K 120 Hz flat OLED display with 2160 Hz PWM dimming and 2,150 Nits of peak brightness. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

On the camera side of things, the phone will be equipped with the 50 MP LYT-600 wide-angle lens (OIS) coupled with an 8 MP IMX 355 ultra-wide lens. There will be a 16 MP camera on the front for capturing selfies.

The OnePlus Nord 4 will be equipped with a 5,500 mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging, and the charger is likely to be included inside the box. The phone will have the iconic OnePlus Alert Slider, NFC, BT 5.4, Wi-Fi 6E, and dual-stereo speakers.

Earlier, the price of the device was leaked. Accordingly, the OnePlus Nord 4 will start at ₹27,999 for the base 8/128 GB variant after applying the promotional offers (bank discounts). What are your thoughts on the OnePlus Nord 4? Let us know in the comments below.
