OnePlus Nord 4 Vs. Moto Edge 50 Pro Vs. Realme GT 6T: Display

To kick things off, the OnePlus Nord 4 ships with a 6.74-inch (20.1:9) AMOLED screen that has a pixel density of 450 ppi and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Regarding brightness, the panel can achieve 2,150 nits of peak brightness. It is also capable of showing HDR10+ content. Besides, the screen supports 100% of the sRGB color gamut, 100% of the Display P3, and 10-bit Color Depth.
One unique feature of the Nord 4 is Aqua Touch. It makes the screen usable even when there’s water on it, such as during rain or accidental splashes.
The Moto Edge 50 Pro features a 6.7-inch (20:9) pOLED screen that has a pixel density of 446 ppi and supports a 144Hz refresh rate. Apart from this, the phone has a peak brightness of 2,000 nits (with support for HR10+). Like the Nord 4, the Edge 50 Pro covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and a 360Hz touch response rate in gaming mode.

The third entrant in the comparison, Realme GT 6T, comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, has a pixel density of 450 ppi, and supports a refresh rate of 120Hz. Interestingly, the phone can achieve a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. However, the number holds true for a small portion of the screen, and that too for a brief duration (or would cause a screen burn-in issue).
Otherwise, the sustainable peak brightness of the smartphone happens to be 1,600 nits. Other features include a touch sampling rate of up to 2,500Hz and support for 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Further, the screen features Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
While all the phones have a similar screen size, the Nord 4 and the Edge 50 Pro have a higher sustainable peak brightness.
OnePlus Nord 4 Vs. Moto Edge 50 Pro Vs. Realme GT 6T: Processor

Under the hood, the Nord 4 runs on the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 Soc, which features one prime core clocked at 2.8GHz, four balanced cores clocked at 2.6GHz, and three efficient cores clocked at 1.9GHz. The processor comes with the Adreno 732 GPU to handle the graphics. The chipset on the handset comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is worth mentioning that the 128GB variant sports a tad slower UFS 3.1 storage.
The Moto Edge 50 Pro features a slightly less powerful chipset: the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC (with Adreno 720 GPU). While the chipset’s prime core clocks 2.63GHz, four balanced cores clock at 2.4GHz and three efficient cores at 1.8GHz. Accompanying the processor is 8GB or 12GB of RAM, both of which ship with 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
The Realme GT 6T, like the Nord 4, features the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC. Further, the phone is available in more configurations than the other two. For instance, the baseline GT 6T ships with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. For the uninitiated, the UFS 3.1 storage is faster faster than UFS 2.2 on the Edge 50 Pro. The other configurations, i.e., 8/256GB, 12/256GB, and 12/512GB, ship with UFS 4.0 storage, offering faster reading/writing speeds.

For those catching up, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (March 2024) is much more powerful than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (November 2023). In fact, the former compares better to the newly launched Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. Hence, for those requiring better smartphone performance, the Nord 4 and the GT 6T are the way to go.

OnePlus Nord 4 Vs. Moto Edge 50 Pro Vs. Realme GT 6T: Cameras

The Nord 4’s primary sensor is a 50MP (f/1.8, 1/1.95-inch, OIS) Sony Lytia LYT-600 sensor. The secondary camera is an 8MP (f/2.2, 1/4-inch, 112-degree) Sony IMX355 sensor. On the front, users get a 16MP (f/2.4, 1/3.0-inch) selfie shooter. Although the primary camera is capable of shooting 4K videos at 60 fps, others are limited to 1080p (30 fps). Yes, the camera system is capable, but OnePlus might have missed the opportunity to provide a dedicated telephoto camera.
The Moto Edge 50 Pro features three cameras on the rear panel, headlined by the 50MP (f/1.4, 1/1.55-inch, OIS) OmniVision OV50E primary sensor. Then there’s the 13MP (f/2.2, 1.3-inch, 120-degree) SK Hynix ultrawide sensor for clicking vast landscapes or unique perspectives. For photography enthusiasts, the Edge 50 Pro also flaunts a 10MP (f/2.0, 1/3.94-inch, OIS) telephoto sensor. It provides 3x optical zoom for clicking high-quality portraits. On the front, there’s a 50MP (f/1.9) Samsung JN5 selfie shooter. It’s important to mention that only the primary and the selfie cameras can record 4K videos (at 30 fps).

The Realme GT 6T features a 50MP (f/1.88, 1/1.95-inch, OIS) primary camera and an 8MP (f/2.2, 112-degree) Sony IMX335 ultrawide camera. To click selfies or attend video calls, users get a 32MP (f/2.45) Sony IMX615 shooter. Although the primary sensor is capable of recording 4K videos at 60 fps, the front camera can only do 1080p at 30 fps. Realme also provides a Movie Mode on the smartphone, adding background blur to videos.
While the Nord 4 and the Realm GT 6T feature decent camera systems, the Moto Edge 50 Pro steals the show with its additional telephoto camera, which is often found on high-end flagship smartphones.
OnePlus Nord 4 Vs. Moto Edge 50 Pro Vs. Realme GT 6T: Battery & Charging

The newest of the lot, Nord 4, has a 5,500 mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging. And while one would think that the charging speed is pretty fast, the Nord 4 is still the slowest charging phone in this comparison.
Motorola’s Edge 50 Pro, for instance, has a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 125W fast wired charging. On top of that, the phone also features up to 50W wireless charging and 10W wireless power sharing. The 12GB variant packs a 125W charger, while the 8GB variant packs a 68W charger in the box.
The Realme GT 6T also sports a massive 5,500 mAh battery that can charge at up to 120W through a wired connection.

Interestingly, all three smartphones come with a fast charger in the box, which, unlike the flagships, saves buyers a couple of thousand bucks. Since the Moto Edge 50 Pro has the smallest battery, it should charge up from zero to 100% in less time than others. However, the other two phones should offer more backup.
OnePlus Nord 4 Vs. Moto Edge 50 Pro Vs. Realme GT 6T: Connectivity Options
Connectivity options on the Nord 4 include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.4, 5G, LTE, NFC, GPS, and GLONASS. The device has a USB 2 Type-C port for transferring data.
While the other connectivity options of the Edge 50 Pro coincide with the Nord 4, the Motorola handset does offer Wi-Fi 6E, which is slightly faster than Wi-Fi 6. Further, the phone features a USB 3.1 Type-C port for charging and transferring data.
The connectivity options on the GT 6T are quite similar to those on the Edge 50 Pro, except the Realme handset doesn’t feature Wi-Fi 6E.
OnePlus Nord 4 Vs. Moto Edge 50 Pro Vs. Realme GT 6T: Software Support

With the Nord 4, OnePlus promises at least four generations of Android upgrades and six years of security patches from the launch date. Out of the box, the phone runs on OxygenOS 14.1, based on Android 14.
The Edge 50 Pro trails behind the Nord 4, as it will get three years of major Android upgrades, along with four years of security fixes. The device ships with Hello UI based on Android 14.
Like the Moto smartphone, the Realme GT 6T will also get three years of operating system updates and an additional year of security patches. By default, the handset ships with Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14.
Hence, Nord 4 provides the longest software support for all.
