OxygenOS 15 Release Date And Time
OnePlus has confirmed that it will release OxygenOS 15 on October 24, 2024. The company will showcase its latest user interface (based on Android 15) via an online event on the day, which will begin at 9:00 IST (i.e. 03:30 GMT). Once the company announces it, the operating system will be rolled out to eligible devices (could be OnePlus 10 and newer) in a phased manner.
OxygenOS 15 Expected Features
According to leaks on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, OxygenOS 15 will come with plenty of changes, including Fluid Cloud, a Dynamic Island-like feature that uses the punch-hole-shaped notch at the top and changes to interactive widgets. Further, the operating system will feature smoother animations with features like Wallpaper Scaling and Gaussian Blur.
The quick settings menu on OxygenOS 15 looks similar to the Control Center on iOS. The brightness/volume sliders, media controls, and other controls are very similar to those on Apple’s operating system. We also did an exclusive story on the iOS-like Control Center in September. Last but not least, the operating system will also feature AI-based features.
