OPPO has been absent from the TWS market for quite a while, but now it’s making a comeback with the Enco Buds 3 Pro. The Enco Buds 3 Pro cuts through as a straightforward successor to the popular Buds 2. Those were long hailed as top picks under ₹2,000 (and later ₹1,500) for their sound quality. So, can this new model, priced at ₹1,799, take that crown in the ₹1,500 to ₹2,000 range again? Let’s find out.
OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro: Price & Availability
The OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro is priced at ₹1,799 in India. It is available in two colorways: Glaze White and Graphite Grey. You can buy them via Flipkart, OPPO Store, and nearby retail stores starting August 27, 2025.

OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro Review: Design and Comfort

The design here is nice. The charging case feels premium with a compact, lightweight build (total weight around 42.7g) and a matte finish that’s grippy and easy to pocket. It’s got a USB-C port, and the earbuds themselves are light at 4.3g each, with silicone tips for a comfortable in-ear fit that holds up during daily use.

The IP55 dust and water resistance makes them solid for workouts or rainy days. However, there is no IP rating for the case itself. And we don’t have a pairing button on the case. Also, putting the earbuds in and out of the case isn’t as smooth as it could be. Overall, the fit is secure for wearing long hours without fatigue.
OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro Review: Connectivity

The Buds 3 Pro come with SBC and AAC codecs, which is the norm in this segment. They offer rock-solid Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity with no dropouts, even in crowded spots. The 10m range holds up well, and dual-device support lets you switch effortlessly between your phone and laptop (or other phones).
Low-latency game mode (47ms) is fine for mobile gaming, keeping audio in sync without lag. However, I would still suggest using a wired earphone for the best experience. It works across platforms, including iOS, with Google Fast Pair making initial setup a one-tap affair.
OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro Review: Controls

The touch controls on the OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro are handled via capacitive zones on the stems of each earbud, and they’re pretty reliable in practice. They respond quickly about 90% of the time during my testing, but there can be a lot of accidental triggers too.
One nice touch is that all controls are available on each earbud independently, so you don’t have to worry about left- or right-specific functions; you can use either side for everything, which is great for single-bud use or if one runs low on battery.
Defaults include single-tap for play/pause, double-tap for next track or answer/end call, triple-tap for previous track, and long touch/hold for volume adjustments or rejecting calls, but these can be fully customized in the app or Bluetooth settings.
OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro Review: Sound

The OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro pack 12.4mm dynamic drivers that push a very bassy, warm sound signature right out of the box. There’s a strong boost in the bass, which makes them perfect for the average listener who just wants punchy beats without overthinking it. However, the mids feel a bit recessed to some, making vocals and instruments take a backseat.
To get the best out of them, you’ll likely need to tweak the EQ: lessen the bass boost and pump up the mids for better balance. The HeyMelody app offers a 6-band equalizer with presets like Bass Boost, Clear Vocals, and Original Sound, which helps, but it’s not as refined as higher-end options.
For casual listening, they’re decent and engaging, with good passive isolation from the in-ear fit helping block out some ambient noise. Just note there’s some sound leakage at higher volumes (you shouldn’t be listening at higher volume levels anyway unless you want to damage your hearing).
OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro Review: Pairing, App, and Features

Pairing these for the first time is incredibly easy, as they pop up automatically in your Bluetooth settings. When pairing for the second time, you’ll need to either have the case open for 15 seconds or press and hold the earbuds for 4 seconds to activate the pairing mode.
On OPPO or OnePlus phones, you don’t need any additional app; all settings (like EQ, touch controls, and firmware updates) are accessible directly from the Bluetooth menu. For other Android devices or iOS, download the HeyMelody app, which is available on both platforms.

Features include:
- Enco Master EQ: 6-band customizable equalizer with presets (Bass Boost, Clear Vocals, Original Sound).
- Touch Controls: Fully customizable for taps on left and right earbuds separately.
- Game Mode: Enables 47ms ultra-low latency for gaming.
- Dual-Device Connection: Seamlessly switch between two devices.

Exclusive to OPPO devices:
- Camera Control: Exclusive to OPPO phones (ColorOS 12.0+), this lets you double-tap either earbud to take a photo when the camera app is open.
- OPPO Alive Audio: OPPO’s spatial audio feature, which uses rendering technology to create an immersive sound environment for supported music, video, and game apps. Modes include Off and Fixed (for a stationary surround effect). I would not recommend using this as the experience is not great.
Other features include Google Fast Pair for quick setup, while the HeyMelody app is intuitive to use without any issues. It works well as a companion app, though the built-in equalizer could use more bands for better EQ.
OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro Review: Microphones and Calling

The OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro use dual microphones per bud and they deliver decent call quality in quiet or moderately noisy settings, keeping your voice clear enough for calls. In busier environments like crowded streets or windy areas, though, background noise becomes more noticeable, and callers may find it harder to hear you. It’s not the worst in this price range, but you shouldn’t expect crystal-clear performance during calls on the move.
OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro Review: Noise Isolation

There’s no ANC here, which is a miss since some rivals in this segment offer it, although those implementations are often poor and barely useful. That said, the passive isolation from the in-ear design and silicone tips is decent. If you need true ANC, look elsewhere, but for this price, the lack isn’t a dealbreaker.
OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro Review: Battery and Charging

The OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro lasts up to 12 hours on a single charge and 54 hours in total with the case, though in real use it’s usually 1-2 hours less depending on volume and features. That’s still enough to last about a week of moderate listening. A 10-minute quick charge gives around 4 hours of playback, while a full charge takes about 60 minutes via USB-C.
Review Verdict: Should You Buy the OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro?
The OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro make a strong case as the best earbuds in the ₹1,500 to ₹2,000 category. They’re just solid earphones. The sound is tuned well for casual listening. Battery life holds up well, and the overall quality feels reliable. You’ve also got dual device connection for convenience.
Sure, they’re plastic, but that’s pretty standard, and honestly they don’t feel cheap in hand. You could hand them to anyone and they’d probably say the same; they just feel good to use. Plus, the OPPO/OnePlus integration adds that extra convenience if you’re in their ecosystem.
Anyone wanting earbuds with long-lasting battery life, good controls, and dual device connection, the Enco Buds 3 Pro are an easy recommendation for ₹1,799.
