An additional update regarding the forthcoming foldable device has emerged online, revealing that it will offer 50W AIRVOOC Wireless charging. The Oppo Find N5 is set to offer 50W wireless charging, with the maximum charging speed capped at 50W. This device may be the slimmest foldable smartphone globally to incorporate wireless charging, especially considering that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Pixel 9 Pro Fold provide charging speeds of only 15W and 7.5W, respectively.
The executive has announced that the foldable device will be equipped with in-car wireless charging capabilities and will also feature reverse wireless charging to recharge compatible devices. Electric vehicle manufacturers such as BYD and NIO will support Oppo’s wireless charging technology. The company asserts that it has achieved rapid wireless charging by decreasing the density of the charging coil, enabling this functionality even with the device’s slimmer foldable design.
The device is set to feature an IPX9 rating, making it suitable for underwater photography, and is anticipated to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset along with 16GB of RAM. Regarding wired charging, it is expected to support a speed of 80W.
