Oppo is poised to kick off 2025 with significant momentum, as the company plans to launch the Oppo Reno 13 Series 5G in India this January. Additionally, it is preparing to unveil its next-generation foldable device, the Oppo Find N5, in the near future. The Find N5 is expected to debut in early 2025 in China, and it will be marketed globally as the OnePlus Open 2. Oppo Find N5 Certified

The foldable device was identified in the Camera FV 5 database, indicating that the rear sensor has a resolution of 12.6MP, resulting in an effective resolution of 50MP. The front camera is listed as 7.1MP, which translates to 28.4MP prior to pixel binning. Such resolutions are relatively uncommon for camera sensors, suggesting potential cropping. It is possible that the front camera could be a 32MP selfie shooter. The main camera at the back is expected to have an f/1.9 aperture while the selfie snapper will have an f/2.4 aperture.

The international version of the Find N5, identified by the model number CPH2671, has been listed on the SIRIM certification website in Malaysia. Its approval code is RGQL/221/1224/S(24-5928), and it falls under the Mobile Phone category. This certification remains valid until December 30, 2029.

The foldable device has been identified in the Indonesian SDPPI database, bearing the certificate number 106682/SDPPI/2024 and a PLG ID of 6813. It is classified as a mobile phone, and the listing indicates that it will be manufactured in China.

The Oppo Find N3 had a 48MP wide +64MP telephoto + 48MP ultrawide camera setup at the back. It had 20MP and 32MP selfie sensors at the front.

Oppo Find N5: Launch date

Oppo is expected to unveil the next generation foldable after the Chinese New Year or Spring Festival which takes place in China on 29th January 2025. This means it will launch in February 2025.

Oppo Find N5 is said to be powered by Snapdragon 8 elite chipset and runs Android 15-based ColorOS 15 out of the box. It is expected to get larger main and cover screens with 2k resolution and pack a 5700mAh battery with wireless charging, The foldable will be IPX8 rated, come with an x-axis motor, anti-fall body, zero crease hinge, lightweight design, and more.
