Oppo has been working on its next Find X Series of smartphones for a while now and recently the brand even confirmed that it will launch globally (including India). The launch date for Oppo Find X8 Series which includes the Find X8, Find X8 Pro, and Find X8 Pro Satellite Communication Version has been set for 24th October in China. All three smartphones will be powered by Dimensity 9400 chipset.
Now, apart from the Find X8 Series, the launch timeline of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra and Oppo Find N5 foldable has also been tipped, courtesy of leaksters. Let us have a look at when these launches can be expected.

Oppo Find X8 Ultra & Oppo Find N5: Launch Timeline
Reliable tipster Teme claims that the Oppo Find X8 Ultra and foldable Find N5 will launch in Q1 of 2025. Some markets like India might get a rebranded version of Find N5 as they might come as OnePlus Open 2. The tipster also claims that Oppo is testing the N5 foldable with the X8 Ultra’s camera setup. However, the result is expected to be a triple-lens setup similar to the original Find N5.
It still isn’t confirmed where Oppo Find X8 Ultra will be launched, however since Find N3 was launched in China and Southeast Asian markets, Find N5 is expected to come to other countries. Reports claim that Oppo Find N5 might be the first foldable in the world to be powered by Snapdragon Elite chipset. Find X8 Ultra is also expected to be powered by Snapdragon Elite SoC.

Oppo Find X8 Series: Launch date & Details
Tipster Ice Universe claims that the Oppo Find X8 and Oppo Find X8 Pro will be the world’s first devices to be powered by Dimensity 9400 chipset. They have been received in various markets like India, Indonesia, Thailand, and Europe, and now it remains to be seen if the global launch takes place in 2024 or is pushed to 2025. In China, the series is arriving on 24th October.
The Oppo Find X8 Series is expected to sport a micro-quad-curved OLED panel with a circular camera at the back. At the back, there is expected to be a triple lens setup including a periscope lens. The Pro version will get a quad camera setup including a 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide, 3x telephoto, and a 10x periscope lens.

In terms of battery, the Find X8 Pro is expected to pack a 5700mAh battery with 100W fast charging. The brand might also roll out a Camera Control button like the one on the iPhone 16 series.
