We now have our first official look at the OPPO Find X9 Ultra, with OPPO revealing the device in China ahead of launch. The company has also shared an unboxing video and also confirmed the phone’s three color options. We now have a clearer look at the hardware, camera layout, and new photography accessories.

The Find X9 Ultra will be available in Tundra Umber, Polar Glacier White, and Canyon Orange. The standout version is Tundra Umber, which is also the Hasselblad Edition. This variant uses a dual-tone rear finish and includes Hasselblad branding on the back (it’s just a H on other variants). The design takes a more camera-inspired direction.

At the rear, the phone uses a large circular camera island with an inner octagonal styling. OPPO has placed four cameras inside this module. At the top sits the new 10X periscope camera, which uses a five-reflection optical system. It is based on the Samsung JNL sensor, measures 1/2.76-inch, and uses a 230mm focal length with an f/3.5 aperture.

On the left side is the 3X periscope telephoto camera. This one uses a large 1/1.28-inch sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and 70mm focal length. It also supports a minimum focusing distance of 15cm, which should help with close-range telephoto shots.

On the right side is the main camera, using Sony’s new LYT900 sensor in a 1/1.12-inch size. It is paired with an f/1.5 aperture and a 23mm focal length. The ultra-wide camera uses the LYT600 sensor in a 1/1.95-inch size, with a 14mm focal length and f/2.0 aperture.

Hasselblad Earth Explorer Master Set

Alongside the phone, OPPO has also teased the Hasselblad Earth Explorer Master Set. This bundle includes a new protective case, grip accessory, and the teleconverter. Once attached, the setup looks almost indistinguishable from a compact camera.
Of course, OPPO has also shown a new external teleconverter. This is a 300mm accessory lens that attaches to the 3X periscope camera. The lens itself is marked with 300 branding and uses an f/2.2 aperture. The company has already shared sample images from both the native 10X camera and the 300mm teleconverter setup.

OPPO Find X9 Ultra Launch Date

The OPPO Find X9 Ultra is set to launch on April 21 in China alongside the OPPO Find X9s Pro. The same date is set for parts of Europe and Southeast Asia. India availability is expected later, with a possible launch next month.
