Oppo K13 Turbo Pro vs. Poco F7: Table of Contents
With the K13 Turbo Pro, Oppo has heightened the competition in the midrange performance category. The handset features the mighty Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (4nm) chipset, paired with an intricate active cooling mechanism (with a working fan) that sits inside its chassis and helps with sustained performance.
However, prospective buyers are comparing the phone with the Poco F7, which also features the same Snapdragon chip. So, which one should you get? Is the K13 Turbo or the Poco F7 the better option for you? Let’s find out in this detailed comparison.

Oppo K13 Turbo Pro vs. Poco F7: Design
Dimensions & Weight

- Oppo K13 Turbo Pro: 162.8 x 77.2 x 7.3 mm; 208 grams
- Poco F7: 163.1 x 77.93 x 7.98 mm; 215.7 grams
The K13 Turbo Pro is both slimmer and lighter than the Poco F7.
Materials
Oppo’s K13 Turbo Pro uses a composite glass fiber material for its back panel, while the front uses the AGB DT-Star D+ cover glass.
The Poco F7 uses Corning’s Gorilla Glass 7i (with a matte finish) for the back/front panel and metal for the frame.
Design
Like other phones in the segment, the K13 Turbo Pro and the Poco F7 feature a punch-hole screen on the front, with minimal bezels on the sides and the bottom.
However, the back panels of the handsets are strikingly different. The K13 Turbo Pro features a camera module that looks similar to the other models in the K13 series (albiet with a slightly different design), wherein the camera sensors are located in a pill-shaped, body-colored module (with blacked-out lenses), and the flash is located in another cutout.

The K13 Turbo Pro also has a couple of accents on the back panel, but they’re very subtle and might go unnoticed unless you’re looking for them.
On the other hand, the Poco F7 features a blacked-out camera housing with two sensors, while the flash, usually circular in shape, is also tweaked in the form of a vertical module. The phone is available in three colors: Black, which is the most subtle of all; White with a diagonal line separating different shades of the color; and Silver, which features a dual-tone finish with some creative elements.
Colors
- Oppo K13 Turbo Pro: Midnight Maverick, White Knight, Purple Phantom
- Poco F7: White, Black, Silver
IP Rating
- Oppo K13 Turbo Pro: IP68/IP69
- Poco F7: IP68
Given that the K13 Turbo Pro has a dual IP rating (despite having an active cooling fan in the chassis), it can theoretically survive high-pressure jets and is immersible in freshwater in up to two meters for 30 minutes.
The Poco F7’s IP68 rating is pretty standard (even on flagships), making the phone immersible in freshwater in up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.

Oppo K13 Turbo Pro vs. Poco F7: Display

Oppo’s latest mid-ranger, the K13 Turbo, boasts a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with a pixel density of 453 ppi and a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. Although it supports a touch sampling rate of 240Hz and a 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, the screen can only reach a peak brightness of 1,600 nits.
In contrast, the Poco F7 features a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with a pixel density of 447 ppi and a maximum refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Regarding touch sampling rate, the phone supports up to 480Hz, and when it comes to peak brightness, it can shine as bright as 3,200 nits (covering 25% display area). In high-brightness mode, the phone can shine as bright as 1,700 nits.
In addition to the aforementioned features, the Poco F7’s display also supports Wet Touch Display 2.0 (for using the screen when it is wet), 3,840Hz PWM dimming for making it comfortable on the eyes, and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+ formats.
Oppo K13 Turbo Pro vs. Poco F7: Processor
Chipset

Under the hood, both the midrangers are powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (4nm) SoC, which, in my opinion, is the most capable chipset in smartphones under Rs. 40,000. Besides these phones, you can find the chipset on the iQOO Neo 10 (review) and the Nothing Phone (3) (review), both of which have been thoroughly tested by SmartPrix.
CPU & GPU
The octa-core chipset has a 1+3+2+2 cluster design, featuring a 3.21GHz prime core. Alongside the capable CPU, you also get the Adreno 825 GPU and the Hexagon NPU. Together, this forms a versatile combination that can handle everything you throw at it.
Benchmark Scores

During our time with the Poco F7 (review), the handset scored around 1.9 million points in the AnTuTu 10 and 2,046/6,545 points in the single/multi-core GeekBench 6 CPU test.
In isolation, this is a fairly good score, considering the phone’s price and the fact that other phones in the segment are using much less powerful chipsets. Although it runs behind smartphones like the vivo T4 Ultra, the realme GT 7 (review), and a couple of other handsets.
Gameplay & Vapor Chamber
- Both the K13 Turbo Pro and the Poco F7 can handle heavy-duty gaming at higher frame rates (120fps on K13 Turbo Pro vs. 90fps on the Poco F7) and 4K video editing.
- While the K13 Turbo Pro has a 7,000mm² vapor chamber, the F7 features a 6,000mm² 3D dual-channel IceLoop system (which seems to be a fancy name for a vapor chamber).
Enough with the similarities between the handsets, now let’s discuss the differences (yes, there are a few notable ones that you should know about).

RAM & Storage
The K13 Turbo Pro is available with either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. While the Poco F7 also uses 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, it ships with either 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage (which is slightly faster).
Additional Features

So far, all the specifications have been pretty standard, but the K13 Turbo Pro has a new trick up its sleeve, and it’s an active cooling fan (18,000 RPM) that carries hot air away from the phone’s critical internal components.
This, in turn, keeps the temperature under control and curbs the issue of thermal throttling. Combined with the large vapor chamber, the cooling mechanism on the K13 Turbo Pro is designed to improve the heat dissipation by up to 20%, and it works as intended (but not to a huge extent).
All in all, both the midrangers should provide excellent performance for day-to-day and demanding tasks alike. However, the K13 Turbo Pro, with its active cooling fan, should sustain its peak performance for longer.
Oppo K13 Turbo Pro vs. Poco F7: Operating System

Although an entire comparison between the phones’ operating systems will be beyond the scope of this article, I’ll give you a fair idea about them.
First, the K13 Turbo Pro runs on Oppo’s ColorOS 15 user interface (based on Android 15), which offers useful features like floating windows, live alerts, a smart sidebar, and plenty of AI-based features as well, such as AI Writer, AI Summary, AI Reflection Remover, AI 4K Upscaler, and AI Unblur.
The only possibility of improvement appears to be the software support policy, wherein Oppo promises to provide two years of operating system and three years of security updates.

On the other side of the table, the Poco F7 runs on HyperOS V2 (based on Android 15) and offers the POCO launcher, custom icons, customizable blur effects, split-screen, and multiple AI-based features as part of the Xiaomi HyperAI Suite. It includes AI Writing, an AI-powered Notes app, AI Gallery Editor, and AI Erase.
What gives the Pofo F7 an edge, however, is the promise to offer four years of major Android updates and six years of security updates. When compared directly, the F7 should get twice as many Android and security updates as the K13 Turbo Pro, and that’s commendable.

Oppo K13 Turbo Pro vs. Poco F7: Optics
Oppo K13 Turbo Pro Camera Configuration

- Primary Camera: 50MP (f/1.8, OIS, 76° FOV, 27mm) sensor
- Secondary Camera: 2MP (f/2.4, 89° FOV) monochrome sensor
- Selfie Camera: 16MP (f/2.4, 85° FOV)
Poco F7 Camera Configuration

- Primary Camera: 50MP (f/1.5, 26mm) sensor
- Secondary Camera: 8MP (f/2.2, 15mm) ultrawide sensor
- Selfie Camera: 20MP (f/2.2)
Both phones can record 4K videos at 60 fps from their primary sensors. But when it comes to the selfie camera, the Poco F7 supports 1080p recording at 60fps, while the K13 Turbo Pro maxes out at 30fps.
I also believe that the ultrawide camera on the Poco F7 is more useful than the monochrome sensor on the K13 Turbo Pro.
Oppo K13 Turbo Pro vs. Poco F7: Battery Capacity & Charging Rate

The K13 Turbo Pro has a 7,000 mAh lithium-ion battery that supports 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging (compatible with 44W third-party UFCS, 33W PPS, and 13.5W PD chargers).
The Indian variant of the Poco F7 sports a 7,550 mAh Si/C battery (packs in higher energy density) that supports 90W wired fast charging.
With such battery capacities, both phones should outlast an entire day of moderate usage. They also support bypass charging and come with a power adapter in the box.
Oppo K13 Turbo Pro vs. Poco F7: Connectivity Options

Connectivity options on the K13 Turbo Pro include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth v5.4 (A2DP, LE, aptX HD, LHDC 5), GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also offers an IR Blaster.
The Poco F7 shares some of its connectivity options with the K13 Turbo Pro, like 5G, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, the IR Blaster, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port.
On top of that, the handset provides support for Bluetooth v6.0 (A2DP, LE, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, LHDC 5) and dual-band GPS (L1 + L5).
