After teasing the Oppo K13x 5G earlier this month, Oppo has now unveiled the launch date for the handset. Additionally, the Chinese manufacturer has confirmed several key specifications, including those related to the smartphone’s durability, processor, battery, and camera.

The Oppo K13x 5G will debut in India on June 23, 2025, at 12:00 PM IST. It will be available on the e-commerce platform Flipkart for under Rs. 15,000.

First, let’s talk about the durability of the Oppo K13x 5G. As mentioned in the official press release, the handset is made out of aerospace-grade AM04 aluminum alloy skeleton for 160% higher impact resistance (than other phones in the segment), the 360-degree armor body, which comprises Crystal Shield glass on the front, a sponge shock absorption system around the frame, and an IP65 dust and water resistance rating.

Additionally, the phone is equipped with the SGS Gold Drop Certification and meets the MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards. While we’d like to get our hands on the device before commenting on its real-world durability, the brand has indeed worked to equip the handset with as many features, ratings, and certifications as possible, particularly if you look at what the Rs. 15,000 segment usually offers.

Powering the Oppo K13x 5G is the Dimensity 6300 5G chipset that “delivers class-leading performance,” as per Oppo. The brand also claims that the phone can handle multitasking, video games, and streaming without any hiccups. Further, it features AI-enhanced power management.

Out of the box, the K13x 5G will run on ColorOS 15, based on Android 15, and offer features such as file docking, smart suggestions, improved app transitions, and a more responsive user interface. The operating system also provides AI-based features like AI Summary, AI Recorder, AI Studio, and Google Gemini.

The brand also confirms the presence of a 120Hz ultra-smooth screen that supports 1,000 nits of peak brightness. The screen also offers an outdoor mode and a glove touch mode. Additionally, the K13x 5G will feature a 50MP primary camera, offering AI-based tools such as AI Eraser, AI Unblur, AI Reflection Remover, and AI Clarity Enhancer.

Battery

Finally, the Oppo K13x 5G will feature a massive 6,000 mAh battery that can provide up to 19.3 hours of video playback and 56.8 hours of screen-off calling. The company also offers a five-year battery guarantee, claiming that the phone will maintain 80% battery capacity after 1,700 charge cycles.

Last but not least, the phone supports 45W wired charging, which can fully charge its battery in 91 minutes.
