OPPO has launched the K14 Plus in India, focusing on a large battery, a bright AMOLED display, and a durable build. It packs a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX chipset, an 8,000mAh battery, and a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display. Prices start at ₹29,999, with a special launch-day bank discount bringing the effective starting price down to ₹25,999.

The first sale begins on October 8 at 12 AM on Flipkart and the OPPO India e-store, coinciding with the start of Flipkart Big Billion Days. Buyers can get a ₹4,000 instant bank discount on that day, bringing the effective prices to ₹25,999, ₹28,999, and ₹31,999, respectively. The offer is valid for October 8 only, and buyers can also get 6-month No Cost EMI.
The phone comes in Solar Orange and Star White.

Performance and Cooling
The Dimensity 7360 MAX pairs four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.5GHz with four Cortex-A55 cores running at up to 2.0GHz. OPPO claims a 30% improvement in multi-core performance and a 35% GPU gain over the previous generation, based on MediaTek and OPPO Lab data. The company also says the 8GB + 256GB variant crosses 1 million points on AnTuTu v12.
The phone uses LPDDR4X RAM, with the base model offering 6GB of memory. The 8GB variants support RAM expansion of up to 16GB, which uses storage space as virtual memory. OPPO has also increased the vapor chamber’s size from 3,900mm² on the K14 to 5,000mm² on the K14 Plus, helping manage heat during extended gaming and other demanding tasks.
8,000 mAh Battery
The 8,000 mAh battery is one of the K14 Plus’ biggest selling points. That’s 1,000 mAh more than the K14, and OPPO claims the battery retains 80% of its capacity after 1,800 charge cycles, equivalent to roughly six years of daily charging.
Charging is handled by 45W wired charging, alongside 10W reverse wired charging and Bypass Charging, which can help reduce battery heat during gaming while plugged in.
Durability and Software Support
OPPO calls the K14 Plus’ build a “Damage-Proof 360° Armour Body.” It uses an aluminium frame and collision beams, with IP69K, IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings for protection against dust and water. The phone also supports an underwater photography mode, though OPPO limits it to freshwater.
OPPO is also promising up to six years of smoothness protection on the 256GB variant, based on its own ageing tests. The 128GB models are rated for up to five years. As for software updates, the phone is promised 2 OS updates and 3 years of security updates. It runs on ColorOS 16 out of the box.
Display and Cameras
The K14 Plus has a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 3,600 nits of peak brightness, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. OPPO says the bezels measure 1.66mm at the top, 1.65mm on the sides, and 1.90mm at the bottom.
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with a 1/2-inch sensor, an f/1.8 aperture, OIS, and 4K video recording. For selfies, there’s a 16MP Sony IMX480 camera, which uses the display as a soft light source.
The camera software includes AI Eraser, AI Recompose, AI Portrait Glow, AI Popout 2.0, and AI Remix Collage, along with India-focused skin-tone tuning. OPPO hasn’t named the main camera sensor or listed a secondary rear camera.
The OPPO K14 Plus is a solid option for those who prioritize good performance, battery life, durability, and a good display. Its 8,000 mAh battery, 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED panel, OIS-equipped main camera, and extensive water and dust protection make it a well-rounded package.
