Oppo Reno 10 series is already in the works even when the Reno 9 series is due to launch. Don’t worry if you woke up to realize the same because that’s true. Apparently, some rumors are going around stating that the Oppo Reno 10 series will get a periscope zoom camera whereas the Reno 9 series will skip the same feature.

Decoding Details On Periscope Camera On Reno 10 Pro+

According to the reports, the top-of-the-line Oppo Reno 10 series, dubbed the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+, will get a periscope snapper that resembles the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom which was the original Reno device launched in 2019. For context, it has arrived with 5x optical and 10x hybrid zoom making it way too advanced at that point in time.

Popular tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) took it to Weibo (of course) to ask if users want to get a periscope lens for the Reno series Super Cup where the latter is a nickname for Reno 10 Pro+. It mentioned that the current Reno 9 series doesn’t have a periscope snapper so let’s get that out of the way.

We aren’t still sure of the specifics but we do know that the Reno 10 Pro+ (also called the Super-Cup) will get a periscope snapper. Another tipster Mess With Assen mentioned that the phone with a periscope lens will arrive next year. It goes without saying, the Oppo Reno 10 series is due in Q2 next year i.e. mid-2023 given the fact that the Reno 9 series will be launched this month.

The Reno 10 Pro+ is a top-of-the-line model and certainly the most expensive. It is said that the device could get 2x optical zoom although anything else remains shrouded in mystery.

As usual, the phone will arrive in China first before making it to India and global markets. It is also a mystery if the series will be launched in India or elsewhere. You can keep a tab on this space to know if there’s any update regarding the same.
