We saw a number of interesting phones launch this month, but the best is yet to come. OPPO’s Reno 10x Zoom, that was earlier introduced globally, is set to land in India on May 28, 2019! This device is expected to redefine the way we imagine premium.

The new Reno will unleash a galore of cutting edge technology packaged in an unprecedentedly cool design casing. The poster child of the upcoming Reno series is the 10x Zoom variant, which lets you see an extraordinary distance. Since devil’s in the details, let’s dive further to know more about this beautiful piece of tech.

What’s Special about OPPO Reno 10x Zoom edition?

The major eye candy of this phone is its side-lifting rising mechanism that OPPO aptly termed as ‘Sharkfin’. Apart from being a quick head-turner, this implementation is more exciting than a regular rising module, because OPPO gets to fit in more camera tech including a selfie flash and earpiece on the fin, resulting in a truly full-screen experience.

The side-lifting amazement brings the AI aided 16MP front-facing camera in action and its rises with ease just like a shark would out of smooth waters. Flipping to the back, you would find a versatile and powerful camera system with triple rear cameras. The trio is led by a reliable 48MP primary shooter coupled with the other highlights of the phone, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 13 MP periscope-style telephoto lens that facilitates 10x hybrid optical zoom. The 10x Hybrid zoom delivers full full-focal-length creation capabilities with defined sharpness.

Needless to say, OPPO has stacked several interesting camera features for everyday use and you’d surely be compelled to draw the phone and shoot more frequently. That all said, the limelight would still fall upon the 10x hybrid zoom capable of zooming in the way we never imagined a phone could do.

The brand bets the phone’s ability to command all three cameras in tandem to enhance the photo quality. The phone goes a step further with dual Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) to reduce any blur stirred by the slightest of movements when you zoom into the extreme.

And it’s not a one trick pony!

The camera is certainly one feature that we can’t wait to experience in person, but that’s not all there’s to the Reno 10x Zoom. Its sleek unified body and subtle seamless structure make it look really appealing. There’s also a 3D gradient finish to compliment the slick design.

Up front, you’d be welcomed by a gorgeous and uninterrupted expanse of screen. OPPO shields the screen with the best available scratch resistant glass and the next generation under-display fingerprint unlock 2.0. The finesse extends to the Dolby Atmos supported dual stereo speakers for that rich audio experience.

OPPO Reno 10x Zoom also employs the best Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and will come in ample memory and storage configurations. The software will most definitely be OPPO’s feature-rich Color OS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie.

OPPO Reno 10x also packs a sizeable battery that could comfortably carry you through the most demanding of days without breaking a sweat. OPPO’s fast and safe VOOC technology has also been upgraded to refuel the battery in a flash.

OPPO Reno 10x Zoom could be a new benchmark for flagships

OPPO Reno 10x Zoom seems to be a thoroughly exciting premium phone, one that could rewrite the rules with its innovative approach. It has a versatile and innovative camera, a novel Shark-Fin design,  mesmerizing display, and is expected to be a formidable performer.

Fortunately, we won’t have to wait much longer for OPPO to confirm and reveal all juicy details. The upcoming launch is on May 28th starting at 12:00 noon. Stay tuned!
