Oppo has launched its annual flagship series in India today. The Oppo Reno 5G Series has gone official in the country and includes two smartphones- Oppo Reno 12 5G and Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G. This time Oppo has not only emphasized a stylish design, powerful chipset, and curved display but also rolled out a number of Artificial Intelligence Features that claim to make the experience better than ever before. Let us have a look at both the devices.
Oppo Reno 12 Series: Price & Availability
Oppo Reno 12 will be available in a single 8GB RAM+256GB storage model for Rs. 32,999. It will go on sale starting 25th July via Oppo India website, Flipkart, and retail partners.
Oppo Reno 12 Pro will be available in the following storage configurations-
- 12GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 36,999
- 12GB RAM+512GB storage- Rs. 40,999
Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G will go on sale starting 18th July via Flipkart, Oppo India website and offline partners.

Oppo Reno 12 5G: Specs
Oppo Reno 12 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset which is based on a 4nm manufacturing process. It comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage onboard. The smartphone runs ColorOS 14.1 based on Android 14 with three years of promised OS upgrades and four years of security patches.
The smartphone features a 6.7-inch Quad Curved Infinite View AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, 1200 nits brightness, HDR10+, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. In terms of the camera, there is a 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro sensor at the back. At the front is a 32MP selfie snapper. The Oppo Reno 12 5G has a thickness of 7.6mm and weighs 177 grams. It is IP65 rated and comes in Sunset Peach, Matte Brown, and Astro Silver colors.
Under the hood, it packs a 5000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging speed. In terms of connectivity, there is Bluetooth 5.4, IR blaster, WiFi 6, 5G and more.

Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G sports a 6.7-inch Quad Infinite View AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, 1200 nits brightness, HD10+, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB onboard storage.
The smartphone runs ColorOS 14.1 based on Android 14 with promised three years of OS upgrades and four years of security patches. In terms of camera, there is a 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and 50MP telephoto zoom sensor at the back. At the front is a 50MP selfie snapper.
The Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G has a thickness of 7.40mm and weighs 180 grams. It is IP65-rated and comes in Sunset Gold and Space Brown hues. It packs a 5000mAh battery under the hood with 80W fast charging. Connectivity options include dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.4, IR blaster, WiFi 6, and more.
