Oppo Reno 12 Series 5G Launching in India on July 12

Oppo is all set to launch the next Reno Series in the country. Oppo Reno 12 Series 5G is arriving in India on 12^th July 2024. The Oppo Reno 12 Series includes two smartphones- the Oppo Reno 12 5G and Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G. Both smartphones boast top-notch specs and a premium design.

Ahead of the launch, Oppo has itself confirmed details about the upcoming smartphones.

Oppo Reno 12 Series 5G: Details

The Oppo Reno 12 Series 5G features a Quad Micro Curved Infinite View display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 in the Pro model and Gorilla Glass 7i in the base model. Both the devices sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ Flexible AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR, 1200 nits brightness, and 1.07 billion colors.

The smartphones are IP65 rated for dust and water resistance and built of high-strength alloy framework comprising metals like copper, magnesium, and silicon. The Oppo Reno 12 Pro will come in Sunset Gold and Space Brown shades while Oppo Reno 12 will come in Sunset Peach, Matte Brown, and Astro Silver shades.

The Oppo Reno 12 Series is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset and comes with features like AI Clear Face, AI Writer, AI Recording Summary, and AI Eraser 2.0. Both the devices pack a 5000mAh battery under the hood with 80W wired fast charging that can charge from 0 to 100% in just 46 minutes.

In terms of camera, the Oppo Reno 12 Pro sports a 50MP main sensor with OIS (Sony LYT600 sensor), and a 50MP telephoto lens with up to 20x digital zoom at the back. There is also an 8MP ultrawide camera. At the front is a 50MP sensor for selfies with autofocus.

The base Reno 12 variant features a 50MP telephoto camera along with a 2MP macro camera at the back and a 32MP snapper at the front. Oppo Reno 12 Series also comes with AI Link Boost Technology, TUV Rheinland certification, and more.

Details about the storage options, price, and availability will be announced on 12^th July.
