The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo has confirmed the launch of the Reno 13 series in India. Today, the brand announced that the successor of the Reno 12 will debut in India during the first month of the next year, 2025.

In January 2025, Oppo will launch the Reno 13 and the Reno 13 Pro in India. In doing so, the Reno 13 series could become one of the first smartphones to debut in the new year. However, it is important to mention that the brand hasn’t announced the launch date for the device (but it should follow soon, as the confirmation is out).

Reno 13 Design And Colors

The brand has revealed that the Reno 13 will be available in two colors: ivory white and luminous blue. On the other hand, the Reno 13 Pro will be available in graphite gray and mist lavender. Unlike other mainstream phones, the Reno 13 series will feature a matte back panel (glass) and glossy side frames (aluminum).

The vanilla Reno 13 will feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution. The screen supports a peak brightness of 1,200 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone runs on the Dimensity 8350 processor, alongside up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Regarding optics, the phone features a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization and autofocus and an 8MP ultrawide with autofocus. On the front, the phone has a 50MP selfie shooter with autofocus. Powering the phone is a 5,600 mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging.

Reno 13 Pro Specifications

Unlike the Reno 13, the Reno 13 Pro will feature a 6.83-inch quad-curved AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution. However, the Pro model supports the same peak brightness and refresh rate as the regular smartphone. Similarly, it also sports the same processor, RAM, and storage options. However, there’s an additional 50MP telephoto camera with optical image stabilization autofocus.

The battery on the Pro model is a tad larger than that on the regular model. On the Reno 13 Pro, buyers get a 5,800 mAh battery that supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. What’s worth mentioning is that all the phones in the lineup include IP66, IP68, and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings.
