Oppo has confirmed that it will launch the House of Dragon Limited Edition for its Reno 8 Pro 5G in India. The first look of the smartphone has been teased which shows a totally different design for the limited edition smartphone. The design makes use of the mythos or the popular TV show that is currently streaming on Disney+Hotstar in the country.
The Oppo Reno Pro 5G was launched as a part of the Reno 8 Series recently and is priced at Rs. 45,999 in India. Now, Oppo is bringing a new limited edition of the Reno 8 Pro that is expected to launch by the end of this month or the beginning of November. Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G House of Dragon Edition
A dedicated page on the Oppo India website reveals that the company will launch the limited edition smartphone soon. There is a pre-order button too but clicking on it takes you to a Flipkart page which doesn’t have any option to pre-order it as of now.
The specs of the smartphone will be the same as the normal edition but the main difference will be seen in the design. The images show that the smartphone will come with a House Targaryen Phone Cover that has a faux leather finish with the house’ sigil in a glossy golden finish.
The box will contain a Dragon Egg collectible, a Dragon SIM eject pin, a Dragon emblem phone holder, and a Targaryen Sigil keychain. The box will also have a handwritten proclamation by King Viserys I Targaryen himself welcoming buyers into the House of Fire and Blood.
Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G House of Dragon Edition: Specs
The Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ resolution AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It runs ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12.
In terms of photography, the Reno 8 Pro 5G HOD edition has a triple camera setup on the back. It includes a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The main camera can record in 4K UHD at 30fps and on the front, you get a 32MP selfie camera. The smartphone has stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint reader.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
The Reno 8 Pro packs a 4500mAh battery with 80W fast charging. It is 7.3mm in thickness and weighs 183 grams along with having an aluminum frame. The price for this limited edition smartphone has not been announced as of now.
