Oppo Reno3 4G Version Officially Launched Globally

After the launch of the 5G variant of Oppo Reno3 in China, the company has now globally launched its 4G variant on March 16. The smartphone was scheduled to launch at the Barcelona MWC 2020 but got canceled due to Coronavirus scare. The global version of Oppo Reno 3 is laced with 4G connectivity and powered by MediaTek Helio P90 processor. Let’s take a quick look at the specifications of the OPPO Reno 3 4G version.

Oppo Reno3 4G Specs

Oppo Reno3 includes a 6.4-inch display with a multi-touch capacitive screen. The screen-to-body ratio is 90.8% and the display has a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels in the 20:9 aspect ratio. The dimension of the device is 160.2×73.3×7.9 mm and it weighs approximately 170 grams.

It is the processor where the 4G version primarily lags behind its elder sibling. The 4G version incorporates MediaTek Helio P90 chipset, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage expandable up to 256GB. While the 5G version surpasses its sibling with MediaTek Dimensity 1000L 5G SoC and a higher RAM of 12GB. Talking about the operating system, OPPO Reno 3 4G gets ColorOS 7 based on Android 10.

For photography, a quad-camera setup has been provided on the rear of OPPO Reno 3. The setup comprises of 48MP main camera with an aperture of f/1.8, 13MP telephoto sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, 8MP ultra-wide sensor with an aperture of f/2.2, and a 2MP monochrome sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. The front camera of OPPO Reno 3 consists of a single 44MP sensor using an f/2.4 lens. Further, the telephoto sensor facilitates 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom. For video, the front camera can record 1080p/720p at 30fps and the rear camera supports 4K recording at 30fps.

To bring life to the phone, a 4025mAh battery has been given with fast charging support. An in-display fingerprint sensor is installed for securing the device. For connectivity, OPPO Reno 3 endorses 4G LTE, Dual Sim, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, GPS, and USB Type-C. 

 

Oppo Reno 3 4G Price

As of now, the company officials have not announced the price of the Reno 3 4G. It should certainly be cheaper than the 5G variant that costs roughly Rs. 36,000 in China. Oppo Reno 3 has been listed only on the Sri Lankan Oppo official website in two color variants – Auroral Blue and Midnight Black.
