Oppo Reno8 Series launched in China with Dimensity 8100 Max SoC, LPDDR5 RAM and AMOLED panels

Oppo has finally reprised its Oppo Reno series with the debut of its Reno8 series. A total of three variants have arrived in China dubbed Reno8, Reno8 Pro, and Reno8 Pro+ with a max Dimensity 8100 SoC while the charging speed gets at a height of 80W. Here’s more about the trio and their respective price tags.

Oppo Reno8 Series Pricing and Availability

The Oppo Reno8 series comprises three models. The standard is an Oppo Reno8 at CNY 2,499 for the base 8GB+128GB variant while the higher 8+256GB and 12+256GB models pick up a price tag of CNY 2,699 and CNY 2,999 respectively.

Moving on, the second is the Oppo Reno8 Pro available in the same three configurations as the standard version. The pricing for the Pro variant is at CNY 2999, CNY 3199, and CNT 3499 respectively. The top-of-the-line Oppo Reno8 Pro+ gets two storage trims at 8+256GB and 12+256GB available at CNY 3,699 and CNY 3,999 respectively. The trio has arrived in China while its Indian launch is awaited and expected to arrive soon.

Talking about the trio’s availability in China, the Reno8 and Reno8 Pro+ are set to be available in the country on June 1st while the Reno8 Pro will arrive in the country on June 11.

The top-of-the-line Oppo Reno8 Pro+ gets a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED panel with a 32MP selfie camera housed in a punch-hole cut-out. It has autofocus capabilities that are exclusive to this particular variant.

Reno8 Pro+ is powered by Dimensity 8100 Max chipset along with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. There’s an in-house MariSilicon X NPU onboard that pushes with better AI noise reduction and the capability to shoot excellent 4K ultra night videos. There’s a 50MP IMX766 SoC at the back paired alongside an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro sensor clubbed together in a triple rear camera setup.

Reno8 Pro+ is paired with a 4,500mAh battery which is the same across the trio. It has 80W SuperVOOC charging and runs on Android 12-powered ColorOS 12.1 out-of-the-box.

The Oppo Reno8 Pro is a Pro variant as it gets many ups than a standard variant. The device gets a 6.62-inch 120Hz AMOLED panel and has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC under the hood. There’s up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.

Oppo Reno8 Pro gets a 32MP selfie and a 50+8+2MP rear triple camera setup with the same primary plus ultrawide plus macro setup as that of Reno8 Pro+. Under the hood, there’s a 4,500mAh battery outfitted with 80W SuperVOOC charging tech capable of juicing up the battery in half an hour.

The base model in the trio, the Oppo Reno8 packs in a 6.43-inch 90Hz AMOLED panel with a punch-hole cut-out on the top-left corner housing a 32MP selfie camera. There’s a triple rear camera onboard that includes a 50MP primary shooter and two 2MP auxiliary cameras for macro and depth sensing.

Oppo Reno8 is powered by Dimensity 1300 SoC under the hood paired alongside up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone runs on Android 12-backed ColorOS 12.1 out-of-the-box. There’s a 4,500mAh battery under the hood paired alongside the same 80W SuperVOOC charging tech as Reno8 Pro+ capable of juicing up the battery to its full capacity in 28 minutes.
