Panasonic launches LUMIX S9 Compact Mirrorless Camera in India

Leading camera brand Panasonic has announced LUMIX S9, a compact full-frame mirrorless camera in India. It is one of the smallest and lightest cameras in the LUMIX S-Series which comes with a 24.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor to offer professional imaging and video quality.

Panasonic LUMIX S9 Camera: Price & Availability

The Panasonic LUMIX S9 full-frame mirrorless camera costs Rs. 1,49,990. The LUMIX S9 combo kit including a lens costs Rs. 1,79,990.

The camera will be available across all Panasonic brand shops, Lumix Lounges, and retail stores.

Panasonic LUMIX S9 Camera: Features

The camera comes with 5-axis Dual I.S.2: 6.5 stops/ Body I.S.:5 stops and Active I.S tech offering real-time subject tracking with AF and PDAF. There is also a free-angle rear screen that allows a flexible shooting experience.

The LUMIX S9 camera offers creators with REAL TIME LUT function, allowing for a range of popular, classic, or bespoke color styles/filters directly in-camera via a dedicated LUT button, says Panasonic.

There is also a LUMIX Lab app for Android as well as IOS smartphones that allows editing on the go and a new recording format-MP4 Lite, meant specifically for smartphones.

The LUMIX S9 Mirrorless camera is a 24.2MP CMOS sensor that offers still images in JPEG and RAW formats. It comes with a phase detection AF system along with 30fps burst shooting and supports 5.9K Full 30p/25p/24p video to 4K/FHD sizes. The device comes with a 3-inch TFT LCD monitor with static touch control and is compatible with the LUMIX Labb app. There is a USB Type-C, HDMI, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity options, and an SD Memory card with a built-in microphone. The camera weighs 403 grams excluding the cap and packs a 2200mAh 16Wh battery.
