Today, we’re here to discuss two of the latest product launches from Google: the Pixel Watch 4 and the Pixel Buds 2a.

Pixel Watch 4: Price & Availability

For now, Google has only announced the Wi-Fi version of the Pixel Watch 4 in India. It’s available in two sizes: the 41mm version that costs Rs. 39,900 (in Iris, Lemongrass, Porcelain, and Obsidian colors) and the 45mm variant that costs Rs. 43,900 (in Moonstone, Porcelain, and Obsidian colors). The wearable will arrive in October 2025.

Pixel Watch 4: Key Features

First and foremost, the Pixel Watch 4 features 3D curved AMOLED screens (with respect to the watch sizes) with a resolution of 320 ppi, can shine as bright as 3,000 nits, and a refresh rate that can vary between 1-60 Hz.

Under the hood, the wearable features the Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chipset, along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC storage. With regards to sensors, the smartwatch features a compass, altimeter, red and infrared sensors for measuring blood-oxygen saturation, sensors for conducting ECG, measuring skin conductance, and skin temperature.

Some of the key fitness-tracking features of the Pixel Watch 4 include Daily Readiness Score, Sleep Profile, Cardio Load, and 40+ exercise modes. Further, the smartwatch provides Loss of Pulse Detection, which could be a critical feature in the event of an emergency.

As far as battery life is concerned, the Watch 4 features a 325 mAh battery on the 41mm variant and a 455 mAh battery on the 45mm variant. While the former can last up to 30 hours, the latter can last up to 40 hours between charges, with the always-on display enabled.

Regarding durability, the smartwatch features 5 ATM and IP68 water resistance ratings. The watch offers support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.3, dual-frequency GPS, GLONASS, and an ultra-wideband chip for precision tracking.

The Pixel Buds 2a are priced at Rs. 12,999 in India. It will be available in the country via Flipkat (and possibly the official Google Store). The earbuds come in two colors: Hazel and Iris.

The Pixel Buds 2a feature 11mm dynamic drivers that claim to produce rich, clear sound. Under the hood, the earbuds feature Google’s Tensor A1 chip, which powers features like adaptive active noise cancellation (with Silent Seal 1.5) and a dedicated Transparency Mode for hearing the ambient sounds.

Additional features include dual microphones for clear calls, Bluetooth v5.4 connectivity, in-ear detection via IR proximity sensors, and touch controls. Regarding battery life, the Buds 2a can last up to seven hours on a single charge and up to 20 hours with the charging case (with ANC).

Without the noise cancellation feature, the earbuds last up to 10 hours on their own and 27 hours with the charging case. Last but not least, the earbuds come with an IP54 dust and water resistance rating.
