Poco, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, has announced the global debut of its upcoming F-Series. The Poco F7 Series 5G will be unveiled for international markets during an event in Singapore on March 27th. This series will feature the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra smartphones, with teasers highlighting both models. Additionally, Poco is anticipated to introduce at least one of these smartphones to the Indian market shortly after the global launch, as Poco’s Head, Himanshu Tandon, recently inquired on X about whether users prefer the Pro or Ultra for India. Here’s what we currently know about the Poco F7 Series.

Poco F7 Pro & Poco F7 Ultra: Details

Reports claim that the Poco F7 Series smartphones might be rebrand of Redmi K80 Series devices that were launched in China in 2024. Ahead of the launch, various details about the Poco F7 lineup have surfaced online giving us a good idea of what to expect.

Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra are said to sport 6.67-inch AMOLED screens with 120Hz refresh rate, 3000×1440 pixel resolution, and 526 PPI pixel density. At the back both the devices have a circular camera module on left side, which houses the rear cameras and an LED flash.

In terms of design, there will be a centre-aligned hole-punch cutout for the selfie sensor, quad-curved edges, and narrow bezels for sleek look. There will be a volume rocker and power button at the right edge, while the bottom edge will house USB Type-C port, speaker grille, microphone and SIM Tray. Poco F7 Pro is expected to come in blue, black and silver hues while Poco F7 Ultra will come in black and yellow shades.

Poco F7 Pro is expected to draw power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. Poco F7 Ultra will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

As for the camera, the Poco F7 Pro will feature a dual lens setup at the back including a 50MP main and an 8MP secondary lens. For selfies, there will be a 20MP sensor at the front. As for the camera setup of Poco F7 Ultra, it will feature three sensors at the back including a 50MP main, 50MP telephoto lens, and 32MP ultrawide lens. At the front will be a 32MP selfie sensor.

Poco F7 Pro is said to pack a 6000mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging while Poco F7 Ultra is rumored to get a 5300mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging speed. Both the devices will run Android 15-based HyperOS 2 out of the box and be IP68-rated for dust and water resistance.

Poco F7 Series: India Launch Details

Poco India head Himanshu Tandon shared a post on X wherein he asked his followers whether the brand should explore bringing Poco F7 Pro or Poco F7 Ultra to India. This hints towards one of the two models coming to India soon. Also when one user asked about a vanilla Poco F7 with a 7500mAh battery, the Poco India head replied, “Let’s wait”. Poco F7 Series: Expected Pricing

Leaks claim that the Poco F7 Pro will start at Euro 599 (around Rs. 57,000) while the Poco F7 Ultra might be priced at Euro 749 (around Rs. 71,000). In 2024, Poco launched the Poco F6 in India, starting at Rs. 29,999. Since the Poco India Head has asked for an opinion regarding the India launch, the company might bring the Pro or Ultra model to India if the response is positive.
