POCO to launch affordable C71 Smartphone on April 4: Design revealed

Redmi’s sub-brand POCO just debuted flagship-level F7 Pro and F7 Ultra smartphones globally. Now, one of these might come to India soon, but before that the brand has announced the launch of the budget POCO C71 device in the country. The affordable POCO C71 is all set to come to India on April 4 and the teaser shows the smartphone in shiny gold color, revealing its design. The phone has a dual-tone finish at the back along with a pill-shaped camera featuring a golden rim.

POCO C71: Details

POCO C71 was earlier spotted on BIS certification in February, and it was tipped to be a rebranded version of Redmi A5. POCO is calling the device ‘The Ultimate Blockbuster’ and has confirmed features like a 5200mAh battery with 15W charger inside the box, 32MP dual camera setup at the back, 8MP sensor at the front, two OS & Four Security updates, 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual band WiFi for it.

The device will launch in Desert Gold, Power Black and Cool Blue shades, and it will be IP52 rated for durability. The pricing for POCO C71 is expected to be under Rs. 7000, including launch & bank offers.

The Redmi A5 is powered by UNISOC T7250 chipset with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage with support for 4GB virtual RAM as well. It sports a 6.88-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. In terms of camera, POCO C71 features a 32MP camera at the back with AI features and an 8MP sensor at the front. Under the hood, it packs a 5200mAh battery with 15W wired charging, and it also comes with a fingerprint scanner for security. Face Unlock is also available. It will run Android 15 out of the box.
