TL; DR
- The earlier leaked design of the Redmi Turbo 5 Max/ POCO X8 Pro Max was inaccurate. The actual design has now surfaced from Redmi’s official teasers.
- The POCO X8 Pro Max will pack a 9,000 mAh battery with 100W wired charging support.
- It will be powered by the Dimensity 9500s and has already crossed 3.29M on AnTuTu.
Fresh official teasers from Redmi have clarified what the upcoming Turbo 5 Max really looks like, putting earlier design leaks to rest. This matters for India because the same device is expected to launch locally as the POCO X8 Pro Max.
The confirmed design shows a vertically aligned dual camera setup to the left, large R angle, and an OLED display with symmetrical bezels on all sides.

Battery is clearly one of the headline features. The device is now confirmed to ship with a massive 9,000 mAh cell. While Redmi has not directly announced charging speeds yet, regulatory listings have already pointed to 100W wired fast charging, which lines up with what has been floating around in leaks.

On the performance side, the phone runs on MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500s, which Redmi has already confirmed. Benchmark listings have shown the chip pushing the device to around 3.29M points on AnTuTu.

Camera specifications are still officially unannounced, but based on the hardware and positioning, the setup is expected to remain a dual-camera system, likely continuing with a 50 MP primary and 8 MP secondary configuration seen on the previous model.
For India and global markets, POCO is preparing the same hardware under the POCO X8 Pro Max name. While POCO has not shared launch details yet, the device is widely expected to debut within the current quarter.
