Samsung Galaxy S20, OnePlus Nord, OnePlus 8, Poco M2 Pro have been amongst hot sellers during the ongoing sale seasons. What else is common between these three popular phones is the presence of a punch hole notch. While the OnePlus Nord has a broad dual punch hole notch on the top right corner, the OnePlus 8 and Poco M2 Pro both come with a single punch-hole display. Most users look for cutout centric creative wallpapers and some notch up things by adding a battery indicator around the camera cutout. Yes, that possible.

Thanks to a developer IJP who has created an app called EnergyBar that allows users to add a battery indicator around punch hole notch cut out. This app works with Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and OnePlus Nord dual punch hole cut out and with OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, Poco M2 Pro single-camera punch hole cut outs.

The Energy Ring allows you to put a battery circle around the notch. The App lets you configure battery circle thickness, animation direction, and colors. It can automatically disable the battery indicator when an app switches to fullscreen mode. This means if you decide to Netflix or play PUBG Mobile Energy Ring won’t glow. Here’s how you can punch hole-camera notch into a battery indicator on your Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, OnePlus Nord, OnePlus 8 Pro and Poco X2 Pro:

1. Get the Energy Ring on your phone

First thing first. To turn the front camera cut out into battery indicator you need to have Energy Ring app on your phone. You can go to Google Play Store and download Energy Ring app from Developer IJP. There multiple versions of available on the Play Store. For OnePlus Nord, Realme X50, iQOO 3, Poco M2 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro and Realme 6 Pro you can download & install the general edition, whereas for Galaxy Note 20 Ultra you can download Energy Ring app from here.

2. Permission – Give your consent

Once you are open the app after installation, you will be required to set it up by switching the toggle button on the top right. As soon as you touch the toggle button a permission page will take you to Accessibility settings. Here you need to turn on toggle button dedicated to the Energy Ring then choose ‘OK’ from the popup. Now, hit the ‘back’ button to get back to the app and complete the setup.

3. Finally, Customize it as per your taste

Now, all you need to do is play with options given in the app to customize the Ring around the camera as per your own taste. You can change the ring starting point, ring color, ring thickness, and charging animations.
