Realme 14 Pro Series 5G India Launch Date Announced: Design & Specs Confirmed

Realme has officially launched its next number series, the Realme 14 Series, starting with the Realme 14X 5G in December 2024. The company is now preparing to introduce the Pro Number Series in India. The Realme 14 Pro Series 5G is set to be unveiled on January 16 in the country, aligning with Realme’s dedication to its ‘Make it Real’ philosophy. This series is expected to feature two models: the Realme 14 Pro and the Realme 14 Pro Plus 5G. Recently, Realme held a special event to showcase the design and provide insights into the upcoming devices in the 14 Pro series.

Realme 14 Pro Series: World’s 1st cold-sensitive design

Realme strives hard to innovate in terms of the design of its smartphones. The tradition has continued with the Realme 14 Pro Series which comes with the world’s first cold-sensitive color-changing design for the back panel. It is a unique design that has been achieved in partnership with leading Scandinavian industrial design studio Valeur Designers.

The back panel includes advanced thermochromic pigments that react to temperature changes below 16 degrees Celsius as the color of the back changes from pearl white to vibrant blue and reverses back when the temperature rises.

The Realme 14 Pro series will come with a Unique Pearl Design which has an organic seashell-like texture for the back panel. Global color variants will include a Suede Grey model while India-exclusive colors will be Bikaner Purple and Jaipur Pink. These special editions draw inspiration from iconic colors associated with the heritage of namesake Indian cities.

Realme 14 Pro Series: Confirmed Features

Realme has confirmed that the upcoming Pro series will come with a quad-curved display with 1.5k resolution and 1.6mm bezels, slimmest in the price segment. The series will have the world’s first triple flash and sport a 32MP selfie camera at the front. In terms of rear camera setup, the Realme 14 Pro Series will feature a 50MP SonyIMX896 sensor with f/1.88 aperture and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Realme has also confirmed the industry’s first triple-reflection periscope telephoto lens which will be a 50MP SonyIMX882 sensor with 120x zoom.

AI will be a major focus of the brand, especially in terms of imaging capabilities. Features include AI Ultra Clarity 2.0, AI HyperRAW algorithm, AI Snap Mode, and more. The Realme 14 Pro series has an Ocean Oculus triple camera layout with polished deco gradient details.

Realme 14 Pro Series is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 7s gen 3 chipset and feature large batteries. It will have IP68+IP69+IP66 certification for being dust and water-resistant. The series will launch on January 16 and sell via Flipkart, Realme website, and offline channels.
