The realme 15 series is now official in India, and there’s an interesting shift in the lineup this year. According to realme, the realme 15 5G is positioned as the direct successor to last year’s realme 14 Pro, while the new realme 15 Pro 5G takes the place of the realme 14 Pro+, but with a key difference.
The 14 Pro+ stood out with its 3X periscope telephoto camera, a feature that’s now missing in the 15 Pro. In its place, realme is offering a pair of 50MP shooters on the Pro model, one for ultra-wide, and one for selfies, possibly making it a worthwhile trade-off for users who prioritize versatility over zoom.

The new realme 15 series comes with higher price tags this time, with the Pro model starting at ₹31,999 and the vanilla version at ₹25,999. However, launch offers help bring that down.

realme 15 Pro Specs
The realme 15 Pro is the more premium offering in this launch and is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. It comes in configurations of up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, with support for virtual RAM expansion. The phone runs realme UI 6 based on Android 15 out of the box.

One of the standout changes is the camera system. The Pro model now features a 50MP Sony IMX896 primary camera alongside a 50MP ultra-wide shooter. On the front, you get a 50MP selfie camera that supports 4K video at 60fps, a rare feature in this price segment. Although it lacks the periscope lens from its predecessor, which is the realme 14 Pro+, per realme.

Another major focus is AI. The AI toolset on the realme 15 Pro brings features like AI Edit Genie, AI Snap Mode, AI Motion Control, and AI Glare Remover, offering intelligent suggestions and automatic edits for photos. There’s also AI Party, which gives new filters and watermarks to try.

The phone comes with a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, supporting 144Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and up to 6,500 nits of peak brightness. For battery, the 15 Pro houses a 7,000 mAh cell supported by 80W fast charging, which should easily last over a day for most users. It also boasts IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.
