Realme entered the smart TV category last year. Currently, there are four TV models offered by the brand in India, under varied sizes and competitive features. However, if you don’t want to spend on a smart TV and are looking forward to a dongle which can make even the dumb TVs smarter, then pretty soon, the company will have something for that too. Realme 4K Google TV Stick will soon be out. This device is likely to run the Google TV launcher on top of the Android TV operating system.

Realme TV stick is the first-ever streaming device in India with Google TV. For those unaware, even the brand’s televisions lack this new software, just like most other TV models. Realme will launch the 4K Google TV stick during the Flipkart Big Billion Day 2021 sale.

Realme 4K Google TV Stick: What can we expect?

Flipkart has posted a teaser on its website ahead of the Big Billion Day sale 2021 with details about the Realme 4K Google TV stick. The company has yet to reveal details about its first video-streaming device. Based on its name, however, the Realme TV stick is expected to run on Google TV and to support 4K. Flipkart teased that the Realme 4K Google TV stick will be available in black color and feature a USB Type-C port, similar to that of Google Chromecast, which the company had introduced with Google TV last year.

Google TV offers a new user interface, app-specific content recommendations, and much more, as compared to the traditional Android TV operating system. Compared to the Android TV, the Google TV has a more subtle and simpler user interface, making it easier for users to search for content. As part of a YouTube TV membership, we can also access the Live TV section of Google TV, which displays all the available live channels. The app gives users the option to find content with the help of Google Assistant.

We can expect the Realme 4K Google TV stick to support Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth. Realme’s new TV stick can also be bundled with a remote to let you control the TV. In India, the Realme 4K Google TV stick will compete with the Amazon Fire TV stick and the Mi TV stick. We should get to learn more details about the Realme 4K Google TV stick regarding its price and availability once it launches during the Big Billion Day sale 2021.
