Realme GT 2 Pro First Look Revealed, Release Date Confirmed

Two days ago, Realme did a worldwide premiere event for its upcoming flagship smartphone Realme GT 2 Pro wherein it talked about the innovations it is going to bring in design, camera, and connectivity. Now, the launch date has finally been confirmed by Realme. Realme GT 2 Pro will launch on January 4 and is expected to be Realme’s most premium flagship to date.

The launch event will take place on January 4 at 7.30 pm local China time which means 5 pm IST. The GT 2 series is expected to have a vanilla and a pro variant.

Realme GT 2 Pro: What’s new?

The company has confirmed that the GT 2 series will have features like bio-polymer material, an ultrawide camera with a 150-degree field of view, and a 360-degree NFC. It will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and will sport “Paper Tech Master Design” which is curated in collaboration with Naoto Fukasawa.

The images revealed show a device that is modern and neutral. An element of paper’s texture will be present in the handset’s casing.

“Realme believes materials can break design boundaries in all directions. Distinctive product design is essential for all Realme products, but the environment will not be sacrificed in its name. This is where Realme thinks style and sustainability don’t need to be mutually exclusive. Realme believes in the harmony between environment and technology,” the company said in a statement.
